Just watched the Rumble PPV from 08 and was a very good show and still is today....from a good opener...to Y2J & JBL...to 2 very good world title matches...a rumble match with HUGE surprises and a hilarious Promo from Santino Marella and how can i forget the Debut of Mike Adamle..Jeff Harvey..HARDY lol......The only thing that sucked on this PPV was COACH's COMMENTARY!!!!

Michael Cole & Coachman might have been the worst commentating team this decade on wwe Television (Keep in mind they barely edged out Cole & Lawler)
I also liked the show. 1 of 2 Shows I actually Ordered.
I was really surprised with the Cena return since if i could remember correctly no website really spoiled his return

As good as 2008 was, in my eyes, it did mark the year where Cole & Coachman did commentary on the WrestleMania main event.
Still, could've been Tazz & Adamle I guess.

I was actually at this show. It was deafening in there when Cena returned. Santino's promo was heat of the night, but who won the Super Bowl? GIANTS BITCH!!!!
Great event. Glad I got to see Flair in one of his final matches, glad I got to see piper vs. snuka with all the other superstars watching on. Even better was watching Undertaker vs. HBK to start. Mr Kennedy got a large pop too from the crowd, and there were boos when he was eliminated.

It was a good PPV until the Rumble match, imo. I thought it was terribly unorganised and the booking made little sense.

I liked Cena's surprise return. The only thing I didn't like was having No. 30 win two years in a row. Up until 2007, it had never happened. Now all of a sudden, it's practically chasing No. 27 as the spot with the most wins.

I loved it how Cena's entrance got the biggest pop in years out of the MSG crowd, yet when Cena got in the ring, it's almost as if the crowd realized that it was the John Cena they were supposed to hate. It was like "YEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..AAAAHHH SHIT! THAT'S THE GUY WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BOO! BOO!"
I found it hilarious.

I was at this show and marked the smurf out when Cena eliminated Triple H. And then I felt ashamed. Only slightly.

I really hated the set, MSG doesn't have the long ramp that I for some reason like, especially in the RR. Cena's return was a suprise, just not a happy one.

The stupidest thing about the commentary wasn't Coach's involvement. It was that people were asking Tazz for advice in the Rumble, and joking about Coach's involvement in some rumbles before.
Uh, Coach was in TWO Rumbles, that's one more (or twice as many) than Tazz was in. And he lasted longer in BOTH appearances. I think you should be getting advice from Coach.
I love Tazz, but it annoyed me nonetheless.

Triple H's reaction when Cena's music hit was priceless.
