Saw this elsewhere and thought it might be interesting to start.
What's the best episode of wrestling ever? (can be raw, SD, Nitro, impact or whatever.)
For Raw, I'd have to see either the invasion with ECW (when it really did look like the best wrestling angle in the world) or the Austin/ beer truck episode.

Probably the Raw after Wrestlemania 14. Quite a few historically significant moments packed into the two hours.

The RAW where Mike Tyson and Steve Austin had that shoving match. That was the one that started to turn things back the WWF's way, even though WCW did get more viewers that night.

The Raw after Austin lost the title to Taker/Kane. It built for the first hour into something huge was going to happen when McMahon made his speech...then exploded completely when Austin drove the Zamboni into the ring. It then somehow went BEYOND that when Taker and Kane turned on McMahon and broke his ankle.

The Raw after Bischoff was announced as GM and at the time when Stephanie Mcmahon was the Smackdown GM. It opened up with Eric sitting with the spotlight on him in the ring and he said "Hello. I am Eric Bischoff. Welcome to my show." with the smuggest grin ever. I also liked the shenanigans that started to go on between Eric and Stephanie.

My runner-up would be the ORIGINAL ECW Invasion in 1997. The last show from the Manhattan Center, and the return of the LOD.

A lot of good stuff mentioned here, but I would like to nominate one newer one.
Namely, the night that Punk won the title. Had a big main event where it honestly felt like either guy could win, had a logical story told start to finish over the course of the evening, temporarily changed things up big time on Raw, and pretty much kicked off the Raw is Anarchy storyline. It's not the greatest ever by any means, but it deserves to be mentioned.

Any SmackDown between May & September.
The TNA iMPACT! "Riot Episode." That was one of the most enjoyable wrestling shows I've ever seen. TNA Global iMPACT! 1 & 2 are also pretty awesome.

The episode of (the original) ECW where Dreamer faced Raven for the last time, Jerry Lawler, Jim Cornette, Sabu, and RVD destroyed the whole locker room, Taz had a rematch with Sabu, and then faced Shane Douglas for the TV Title.
It really felt like this little promotion running out of a Bingo Hall was the center of the wrestling universe. You had a guy who was heading to WCW and an invasion by the WWF as part of one show. It was also pretty damn exciting.

The first Nitro.
Raw where Austin crippled Bret.
ECW after the Benoit tragedy.
Raw from MSG in 97 (Cactus vs. Trips)
The SD from 02 that had the Eddie/Edge no DQ match along with a main event of Angle vs. Benoit vs. Rey.
The SD from 03 with the Angle/Lesnar iron man.

Whatever Nitro had Nash tossing Rey Mysterio Jr. into a semi trailer like a lawn dart. My 12 year old ass was stunned.

The RAW where Austin crippled Bret and Pillman returned. Also loved that RAW after Austin got fired and he kidnapped Vince leading up to McMahon 3:16 says I just pissed my pants.

Lakers vs. Nuggets!
But honestly, I pick 2007 15-Year Anniversary Raw special. So many markouts all around.

It then somehow went BEYOND that when Taker and Kane turned on McMahon and broke his ankle. Yeah that one definitely came to mind as great story-telling. I'm pretty sure that was also the night of Shamrock/Rock/Mankind vs. Kane and Undertaker where the faces fought amongst each other and Rock pinned Undertaker clean. The whole thing was really good storytelling.

The Raw that started out with a scheduled DDP Vs. Shane Mcmahon street fight, but ended up with ECW debuting as the force joining WCW against the WWF, Raw episode june 2001 ish.

The WCW where Bret Hart was the first man to pin Goldberg while in Toronto (using the metal vest to counter the Spear), shortly before he quits WCW on-air. I HATED Goldberg at the time and loved every second of that show!
