Definitely a bigger deal than Hogan.
Agree/disagree?

Would've made more sense with McMahon leaving Hogan at home to collect paychecks, buuut of course, Hogan MUST have the Wrestlemania payday, no ifs ands or buts.

I disagree. From a non-story perspective, the match, designed to be a pure spectacle and the return of Hulk Hogan, had the right man going over. From a story perspective, it's Vince's inability to get one over on the Hulkster that led to him suspending Hogan/the Mr. America storyline and so on.

I thought the right man went over at XIX as well, though the storyline afterwards was a bit hokey.

What would Vince McMahon going over possibly accomplish? More heel heat in which he doesn't need anymore? With Hogan going over you get the storybook ending, a huge crowd pop, and happy fans who don't feel so ripped off.

If you get the level of heat Vince gets as a heel, you never have to win.

Definitely a bigger deal than Hogan. Agree/disagree? I guess Vince going over HBK at WM should have happened to, since he probably drew more money over the years...

The right man went over. How this is even debatable is beyond me.

Another useless cameo by a rowdy piper since his pipe shot to Hogan amounted to absolutely nothing. Maybe if the Vince won after that would it have been a more accepted outcome with Vince winning. But its was more of oh heres an old guy lets cart him out and have him interfere for no reason.
Anyways the shot of Vince on a stretcher bloody giving Hulk two middle fingers as he's being carted away was priceless.

That was Wrestlemania 22 against HBK I thought I remembered him doing it to someone else but couldn't remember who. He did it to Hogan first. I remember the camera cut to a bloody Hogan and he was smiling.

But its was more of oh heres an old guy lets cart him out and have him interfere for no reason. It wasn't a "useless cameo." Hogan and McMahon were arguing about who "made" the first Wrestlemania a success... but there has always been the arguement that Roddy Piper did just as much with his heel work and the crowd wanting to see him get beaten as Vince did in the promotion and Hogan did from a fan-favorite point. I will agree that him hitting Hogan and it leading no-where was useless... he should have hit Hogan, shook Vince's hand, and then hit him from behind, too.
