I'm pretty pumped myself. The best guest hosts so far have been former wrestlers, and I loved when Roddy was the interim WWF President back in the day. Plus, after the rumors of Piper's health taking a turn for the worse and that he was near death a few weeks back, this will be doubly nice to see.

Piper's fun and all, but very meh for it myself. Mainly since he pops up so often, there's nothing at all particularly special about him appearing these days in my opinion.
Eh, either way, should make for a decent host.

He was pretty funny a couple of weeks ago on "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"
Piper: "You remind me of my kids."
Gang: "You have kids?"
Piper: "NAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!"
*walks away*

Looking forward to seeing the Rowdy One. Hope he does some cool stuff...maybe interacting with Orton/Legacy, Sheamus, and maybe even Santino.
Piper is one of my all time faves, so I'm always excited to see him.

RAW feels less like SNL gone retarded and more like a wrestling show when former wrestlers host RAW. First time since Trish Stratus hosted that I will actually watch.

Here's hoping that Piper and Sheamus have themselves a 'White Off!' They could even call it the 'Pale Parade.' Either way...talk about some good, clean fun!

It's always good to see Rodney The Piper [/santino] on the TV screen, in my opinion.

It'll be good seeing Piper on tv. And Jericho's interaction with the guest host will finally make sense.

Wouldn't put it past Piper to try to slip in a Hogan reference too.
Odds on either Santino or Chavo begging him to honour them by hitting them with a coconut?

I hate it when wrestlers host RAW.
It's like they go out back and just trot out another "Legend."
I loved Piper as a kid.
I like seeing him, but not when he's overweight and beat up. I want to remember him as the obnoxious kid that got in Hogan's face, or the guy that had a chance to beat Bret, but decided to battle him with sportsman-ship.

I see what you mean, but as overweight and beat up as he is, Piper still had one of the best promos of the year IMO with Jericho on Raw awhile back.

See I MUCH prefer old wrestlers hosting than the vast majority of celebs and sports stars they get to do it. Everything seems to come across as less contrived interaction wise with the other wrestlers, they can reference old history/angles/etc; if they're gonna keep up this guest host thing which has already in my opinion went on far too long-- hell most weeks I don't even watch anymore, and when I do I'm usually switching channels fairly quickly, the hosts ain't the main reason, but they're a symptom-- I prefer the old guys, legends, whatever.
