Ok, so I had a thought a minute ago. The World Wildlife Fund lawsuit was over the use of the abbreviation "WWF." As we've seen on home videos, they can't use that abbreviation but they can say "World Wrestling Federation" any time they want. Could they ever go back, and just not abbreviate? Should they?

I would fully endorse a return to World Wrestling Federation, with the use of simply "The Federation" or "The Fed" when they need to shorten it. "WWE" just conjures up, to me, some of the worst times in company history.

You're not doing it right. THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!!!!! If they couldn't use the acronym, I still don't know why they didn't just change the spelling of Federation to Phederation The WWP!!!! |

I remember Shawn Michaels always used to say World Wrestling Federation. If only everyone could be more like mid 90s HBK. (Besides all the drugs and being a jerk.)

I prefer WWF.
The funny thing is, there's not really any need to shorten it. "World Wrestling Federation" and "double-you, double-you, eff" have the same amount of syllables.

Gorilla Monsoon always said World Wrestling Federation in long-form, too. Also, why exactly is it okay to show the old-school WWF logo, but the scratch logo has to be blurred? Seems weird to me. They both mean the exact same thing, why is one okay, while the other isn't? |
