Huh, that was an interesting tune. Not usually a metal guy but they have an interesting sound.
I may have to explore some of their stuff thanks to you Mr. Braxton.

ARRRGH!!! Is this only happening in Jersey? Yeah, supposedly a one-time deal. However, I have a feeling there's more to it than all three and Danzig want to reveal at this point.

The Misfits are pretty f***ing awesome. Horror punk, not metal, but since you're not into the genres it's not a big deal . Either way, yeah, you definitely need to check them out.

Yeah, I just read about this earlier today. Even though they don't compare to the originals, the Graves-era Misfits are totally underrated so it should be a good time.

I haven't heard anything, though I haven't been able to listen to any stations that would know it. Is it at Starland or something?

To be more specific, psychobilly. I wouldn't really call them psychobilly. That's something more like Nekromantix. Agreed. Granted, a song like "American Nightmare" could be considered psychobilly. Then listen to a song like "Braineaters", for example, and...well...not so much. Personally, I think they're a fantastic blend of everything good about music.

Jerry, Robo, and Dez must have not gotten their invitations. They really should do a full US tour with the graves lineup. Samhain should b the openers!

Kinda makes me wonder about Jerry. He's always been one of the coolest guys to meet, but I'm wondering if Jerry to the fans and a Jerry to the band are 2 radically different people.

Recaps from the show tonite from graves board believe it was: Helena, Lost in Space, Scarecrow Man, Shining. Danzig and Doyle did an encore of Skulls and Die, Die My Darling after the Danzig set.
gotta say, overall an impressive night, the crowd was fairly into it. They started chanting "Michale Graves" in the middle of the Gorgeous Frankenstein set. There were a few naysayers of course, I heard a bunch of fans calling it the "fake Misfits". I have to say, though, I was disappointed by the length of the Graves set. Gorgeous Frankenstein had a pretty long set including unveiling a new lead singer (who kinda looked like Johnny B. Morbid, but I'm not sure). The Graves set kicked off with Helena, which was pretty sweet, then launched into Lost in Space, Scarecrow Man and finally Shining. I have to say, Doyle kinda looked exhausted by the end of it and while it looked like Mike was ready to do more songs Doyle was kinda like "alright, that's it". Nevertheless, a sweet night, despite having to wait out in the rain for like an hour to get in. NICE JOB MIKE!
thats from the Graves forum....

NICE.....the Graves lineup is actually my favorite, though I'm sure that puts me in the minority..
