Would TNA even want him back? He bailed on them, and he really isnt that great in the ring anymore. I doubt they take him back.

WWE DID NOT destroy Sabu's gimmick. If anything, Sabu got the most exposure(aside from WWE or WWEcw wrestlers) when ECW was re-launched. The problem with Sabu is Terry Brunk....the man who plays Sabu.....You know, the man that got caught with a bong.....the man who STILL got pushed as a world title contender when Rvd got suspended. Or maybe I should just blame Triple H. That seems to be the "in" thing to do. But, like you said, there's ALWAYS something more to backstage politics than we know

It's also destroyed his gimmick. A talking Sabu? That would have never been considered in the real ECW or even TNA. Boo-hoo, he talked. If this was before "Forever Hardcore" then you'd have a case, but since he didn't shut up in that thing, the cat's out of the bag, he can speak. It's not like he's out there cutting 20 minute promos. If he did cut a 20 minute promo, it wouldn't be as bad as how they've got him going, "I'm Sabu....and I'm going to win the ladder match," then just staring at the camera like a retard. Since it doesn't look like the Sabu vs. Undertaker feud i've wanted to see for years is never going to happen, I hope RVD and Sabu go to TNA, with Bill Alfonso.

You know, if I was a guy who'd been doing my job for 20 years, had carved my own place, and gotten over, I'd be a little resentful if I was offered a job only to be told "listen, we realize you've managed to work this gimmick for two decades, but we're changing everything but the name and look", I'd be a little bit pissed off. Yes, Sabu took the job, and the "professional" thing to do is to do what your employer is paying you for. However, if the same thing had happeened to anyone on this board, and your new employer told you he admired how you'd done your job for 20+ years, and then demanded you change two major facets of your duties, you'd be pissed off too. I know I would.

Sabu is only really good in the hardcore environment, but he got work with WWE about 5 years too late for him to shine there, since they killed the hardcore division and brought wrestling back to psychology and story-telling. Kid Kash practically did the whole self-destruction thing in TNA where he did anything he could to get fired from them, and it looks like Sabu is doing the same thing here. Good for him, I hope he stays healthy and finds consistent work. I wish him good luck on his future endeavors in advance.

he shouldnt have been caught speedin while weedin yes actually this is it. RVD was out, and SABU was there because you couldn't have 2 guys gone. so SABU puts over Big Show. SABU was huge for awhile, and then ever since that ladder match with RVD, he's just been i don't know how to say this... AWFUL. Seriously awful. It's like once RVD came back, SABU saw his push disappear, and instead of trying to pick his game up, he gave up.

I think they should have just fired them both. Especially RVD. What a bloody idiot. They need to rehire Iron Mike Sharpe, just so Sabu and RVD can job to him in handicap matches, and take his pay out of THEIR check.
I'm sorry, but when somebody like RVD gets the title that so many people deserve and then blows it by smoking pot, I have no respect for the guy.

i know this sounds sad but if VKM hadve shown up, it wouldve made the show somewhat interesting.
