What did you think of WWE overall this decade? It had it's ups and downs. Mostly downs in my opinion. It didn't really usher in anything innovative like TNA did. I did in fact liked to see Flair finally retire in an amazing match. I also loved to see new guys like CM Punk to have the spotlight and also see Y2J Chris Jericho return.

Despite all the crap, and God it seems like there's been alot...the whole decade? Yeah. I enjoyed it. I truly think there were some Incredible, historic moments in this decade. Or just things I honestly loved. This decade saw Hollywood Hogan Vs The Rock and a plethora of great matches with great competitors that range from Benoit to Shawn Michaels to John Cena.
I will say this though, I enjoyed the few years of the Attitude Era more than this entire decade put together.
Except for Hollywood Rock. Which was phenomenal.

Within the context of the shows, it was great. Amazing matches, and some funny Wrestlecrap moments.
But regarding all of the tragedies outside of the ring, not so much.

The first 5 years were good, but it has faded out in the last 5. IMO

Overall, yeah it was pretty good. I started watching when I was 6, so 1997 is when I started. So my first real full decade was this one, and overall it was OK. There were tragedies, arrests, roid suspicions, and a lot of bad things that happened...but with guys like Angle, Eddie, Foley, HBK, early Cena, nonpowertripIAMTHEGAMEISCREWTHEBOSSESWIFE Triple H, Punk, Hardy, Orton and Taker, the good has outweighed the bad.
This was just one of the bad years though, and as UFC gains more ground and TNA gets their heads out of their asses, I expect an even better decade.

2000 and 2001 alone are the reasons why I liked this decade. Such an amazing time to be a wrestling fan.
Overall I give the decade a 3/5. If not for the deaths, the slow decline the past 2 years, and Triple H's reign of terror.

For most of this decade I liked WWE. In 2007, my interest was dropping off. 2008 was the first year I willingly did not watch too much of RAW or SD. My total disgust started in 2009 beginning with the guest hosts.

Yeah.
As a whole, I thought it was a solid period.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times but overall I liked it.
The start of the year 2000 up to WM17 was my favourite period in the history of our sport.

Overall, I'd say yes. I haven't watched WWE regularly since mid 2006 so I won't judge the last 3 years, 2000 was excellent, 2001 was probably the most entertaining year to me despite the invasion angle being rubbish. 2002 was great with the return of Bischoff, Michaels, nWo, etc. I hated most of 2003, all of it really except for that years Wrestlemania. 2004 started off well but I think it went downhill when Orton won the title. I went to see WWE live for the first time that year though which was awesome. 2005 was pretty bland. The only highlight for me was One Night Stand.

Overall, yes. It had a lot of crap, but had enough great moments and matches to make up for it.

Overall no.
2000 was ok.
2001 was the worst year of wrestling for me ever. I stopped watching for 8 months this year due to how insulting the Invasion storyline was.
2002 was only good the first half. Second half was average at best.
2003 was decent for the first few months but then when Rock left it got average.
2004-2009 were average-medicore at best overall.

The first half of the decade was pretty good, but it went downhill from there.

It was up and down in quality, but looking back on it, the decade was pretty good. 2000 to early 2001 was awesome and the Ruthless Aggression era (2002-2005) had a lot of great moments, but it's been creeping slowly downhill ever since.

I haven't. I actually stopped watching for a few years (2003-2007), and I've watched since 84'. TNA actually got me interested in wrestling again.

2000 through 2004 were probably the best years to be a fan aside from the late 80s.
The majority of the time from late 2004 onwards has been pretty bad with some good mixed in between. Its only recently gotten so bad as to be unwatchable for me though.
So overall, just for the amazing 2000 to 2004 era and the bits of goodness after that [like Edge for instance] I say yes.

Started good and gradually declined into the hideousness we have now. I stopped watching around late 2003 because I wasnt bothered getting up early sunday mornings to watch WWE Expirience or whatever was on, it was the only access I had to WWE programming, but caught up in 2007. In retrospect I would have much rathered watchin 04 to 06 than 07 to 09. Although I kept up with the main storylines and that.
