What if Shawn Michaels were a member of Evolution instead of the NWO? What if he were a member instead of say, Batista or Randy Orton? I would think that would have been interesting.

Whoevers spot he took would have never been a main eventer, period. Batista and Randy Orton were made by Evolution, and they are 2 of three legitimate stars that the WWE has built from the ground up in the last couple of years. This is not to say that Batista and Orton don't deserve their spots, but they would have never gotten the chance to shine without Evolution.

Bats in ,Orton out. Evolution-name out, DX in. Bats = Chyna Flair = Rude
They'd act like the original incarnation of DX prior to Michaels retiring. Shawn and Hunter feud 4 to 5 months later over who started DX and who the leader is. Batista is lost in the shuffle. Flair turns on HBK. Batista given ultimatum to choose sides. Batista doesn't, becomes tweener but never all that over. HHH takes Flair as a manager.. and HBK gets beat at WM by HHH.

Well Id say he coulda taken flairs spot and b that mentor that hhh orton batista looked up to IMO I agree, but since it was basically a new version of the Four Horsemen I really don't think Micheals could have replaced anyone. Flair had to be in it, since it was the new Horsemen, he took Ole Anderson's spot, the veteran. HHH was the man, Flair's spot in the original. Batista was the enforcer, Arn. Orton was Blanchard, the up and coming guy(AA was also like Batista) and also the finese guy(not at Tully's level, but more so than Batista). Micheals really could only have two spots, HHH or Flair, but I doubt you could really put him in either. HHH moreso than Flair, since Micheals at that point could still be the guy and is/was still the best performer in the sport. With HHH, I think he might have been a little too old, but moreso he just got back from retirement, he wasn't the top guy at this point.

Wasn't it rumored that Mark Jindrak was supposed to be in Evolution at some point? That'd be a fun "what if"?
