I know there was a thread where people predicted the ratings for the RAW on January 4th that will go against the live 3-hour TNA episode with Hulk Hogan debuting, but with Bret Hart pretty much confirmed as the guest host for that week, how much do you think RAW will do?
Would you think it'd do better ratings if it was The Rock that was hosting instead?

Seeing as the incident was 12 years ago and the last time I went to a WWE arena, I'd say half the crowd was younger than that, I'd say a small increase in the ratings. Nothing major.

Honestly, the build hasn't been all that great. I wouldn't be surprised if the rating doesn't go up at all. Most people watching back then have forgotten and moved on, except Canadians. Also, RAW has burned a few bridges in the last few weeks. Some people may not watch RAW at all. I'm one of them. I still haven't decided if I'm going to DVR it.

Higher than normal but nothing great. Around a 3.7 is what I say.

3.4,While it is a big deal the casual viewer they go for with the whole guest host thing wont care/know about Bret.Really it just boils down to how many people with box's fall into the category of former wrestling fans/former RAW viewers who care about Bret enough to watch.Or something like that Im not good with making my point in a non funny(to me) manner unless its in person.

3.8, I'll say.
Honestly, though, if they promote the 1/4/10 RAW the week before, I really believe they could touch 4.0....but not eclipse it.

I say 4.0, with the chance of going over. The Montreal Screwjob is the one story new fans learn above all others. Mainly because WWE continually insists on beating us over the head with it time and time again. The older fans who haven't seen Bret in ages will tune in just to see the start of whatever this is. The usual fans will tune in as they do most weeks. If Donald Trump "buying" Raw blasted it to a 4.5, Bret will at least get enough curious former fans to tune in even if it's a one week boost to hit a 4.0.
Hogan is a big deal, but we've seen him. We've seen him often in this decade. Plus iMPACT will be replayed three days later on Spike again. I think TNA is much, much better than Raw right now. But you give me the interest in Bret Hart's first storyline role in 13 years up against another Hogan come back, I'm taking Hart.

3.3, Fiesta Bowl, Mythbusters, TNA and, general RAW staleness will drag it down, IMO.

You never know, especially if TCU/Boise State turns into a one-sided blowout by halftime. That being said, my prediction will be a strong 3.6. It'll be a higher rated show amongst the last few months, but nothing like the top show of 2009 (as already mentioned; Trump RAW and its 4.5 rating).

it will get its usual rating, but everyone on here will be rejoicing that bret 'outdrew' hogan despite the fact that tna will probably get a (slightly) higher audience then its usual and raw will get the same as always

About a 3.2. Its up against bowl games and a heavily hyped TNA ep.
