And I use the term "push" instead of hotshot.
The guy is a beast and seems to have some actual charisma. Unlike Sheamus who just looks awkward no matter what he's doing.
If they were going to just randomly put the title on a random new guy monster, it should have been Zeke.

Zeke just looks more intimidating and believable. I don't know how his mic skills are really so I have no opinion.

But come to think of it. Zeke should of got the push. He needs a better name though I think. But when I was in SD at August, Zeke got a better reaction then Sheamus I think the audience was more impressed with Zeke that night then Sheamus. Seriously he is freakishly huge in person. The TV makes him look a lot smaller.

Zeke seems to be even with Sheamus in the talking department, from what I've heard of him. The only problem I have with Sheamus' mic work is that his voice seems like it should be a lot deeper than it is, but then again Brock Lesnar suffered from the same plight.
I like Sheamus a lot more in the ring, though.

I like Zeke, the man is a beast, and he has awesome theme music, but I see him more as a Batista to Sheamus' Orton. I think they'll both be top guys in years to come.

Zeke seems like a natural "Soft Spoken, Hard Hitting" loner face that fans will get behind.
I would love him to face Christian next.

I agree. I like Sheamus, but I don't buy him at all as the dominating monster heel. He just doesn't...act like it. Zeke on the other hand... Yeah, THATS someone I wouldn't f*** with.

Zeke definitely should have gotten that type of push. Ok so he isnt the Rock on the mic. Who is today? How many guys can actually give some dynamic work anyways? Not many. There are quite a few IMO who should and could have gotten that push against Cena over Sheamus. Zeke is 100 times more intimating looking than Sheamus. Of course, Trips is high on Drew and Sheamus. That helps for sure. World Champ and IC champ. Its good to have someone like that behind you who has management's ear and has the stroke of course

Zeke needs a manager. His mic work isn't atrocious, but the accent doesn't look right coming out of him really.

And as much as i like him (i like him more than Sheamus) his in-ring stuf is boring. He barely has any high impact moves for a guy of his strength and athleticism. He has a simple body slam and his finisher, and i can barely think of ANYTHING else. He's gotta learn some damn moves!

Sometimes I think the point they want to get across with these "Monster" types is : "They're so big and powerful, they only NEED three moves and three minutes to beat someone!" The problem is, a lot of people don't agree, with kayfabe dead.

That one armed, lifting STO just isn't enough.

Zeke is more interesting before he enters the ring than when he's actually fighting in it. I can see him in a sort of One Man Gang/3 Minute Warning role, but I can't see him ever putting on a match that would really be memorable in and of itself.

I think Sheamus is better in the ring by a little bit.

I think Sheamus is better in the ring by a little bit. Considering Sheamus has been around for far less time than Zeke has, that's quite a complement. There's also the international audience to consider. Pushing a guy like Sheamus could potentially benefit the company more than Zeke.

the thing I like about Sheamus, is that he has a good character going for him, which I find important. I just hope WWE doesn't water him down. I think he actually has good mic skills for his character, as I believe that wrestling is an art, not a science, and so it's about making something work based off of your own skills and not finding what works based off of a system. Sheamus is really Irish and the accent helps his character IMO.
I liked before though how he would come out wearing war paint and be billed from "3,000 BC".

Well if ya take Elijah Burks opinion with any stock, there's only one black wrestler allowed to be pushed in the WWE at any given time.
