That I will agree with. From the moment Regal won it to where it is now, a lot of folks have fought hard for the belt, but I feel like they lost momentum with Morrison at the helm, whether it was his fault or not. I love Regal and I'm warming up to Punk but I really don't remember those 2 doing much for the IC title. Punk and Regal both had good matches and whatnot but they held the title for a while and I don't really feel like they did much. (It has been a while so maybe someone could refresh my memory) Santino's reign (While fun as hell) Was a complete joke with the Honk-a-meter. I've really liked the treatment of the IC title since the JBL reign. It was the center for the whole "I'll be champ at Wrestlemania thing" Mysterio and Jericho did nothing but make the IC title look great. The Dolph Ziggler feud also wasn't bad with Mysterio John Morrison did a good job of keeping the title on television and relevant. Although I wish some more mid carders would have gone after it (Instead of guys who were more or less new) Rey and Jericho had great IC matches over the title. Having two people like that wanting the IC title makes the title look bigger than it is.

I am suprised but good for him. Give the new guys a chance. Hopefully he won't drop it in a poorly booked fluke match.

Hopefully John Morrison gets pushed to the main event but here's some love for Mcintyre. His physique is ripped and he does the double arm ddt better then Foley. Hopefully the WWE push him properly. Who cares what his body looks like. CM Punk does not look like a body builder but he is a 1000 times more talented than Drew McIntyre. He does do a double arm DDT better than Mick Foley, but that is the only wrestling move he does.

Very happy to see this. I wasn't on the McIntrye bandwagon for a while, but he's really stepped it up for me at and since Survivor Series. He's hanging in there with Morrison greatly. The IC Title is enjoying a renaissance like it hasn't in a long, long time. From the Jericho/Rey stuff, to Morrison's win over Rey being treated as a huge deal, to Morrison being a fighting champion, to now going to the "chosen one" in Drew. Great stuff.

The IC title is worthless considering theres 3 world titles above it and another title on par with it as far as prestige.
What the IC title is and has been for the better part of a decade minus a few exceptions is a convienent and uncreative way to get midcarders to fued.
The plus side is that the wrestlers fighting for the title usually put on some pretty good matches, so i'll take it.

All kidding aside, Galloway/McIntyre isn't half bad in the ring, but the way his character cuts promos is seriously dire. His current character is way too quiet, plus his accent is so thick that it's impossible to tell what he's saying.
I also feel bad for Ziggler since I think that guy just has more going for him than Drew aside from size and apparently, HHH's/Vince's approval. Ziggler has proven he can put on better WWE-style matches, he's a better talker, and he has a better look. Drew looks like friggin' Stevie Richards and the fact that he tends to wear Polo shirts doesn't help. I'm also not a fan of his sleeveless raincoat + barechest ensemble. He looks like he's a midcarder at some no-name indie show in some backwoods baskeball court gym.

I'm actually pretty happy with McIntyre as champion. He's been solid since debuting, and I really enjoyed the segment between Morrison and him on Smackdown! Morrison's improved on the mic, and McIntyre was pretty good, too, and I think he'll only get better. If this frees up Morrison for the Main Event, awesome. It's that time of year where they give out wildcard title matches, who knows? If it means their program is continuing, I'll also be happy. I've liked their feud. If it means Morrison goes after someone like Punk, or Jericho (now he's lost his right to be on RAW), even more awesome. But I guess that's unlikely - I imagine they'll be turning Show face.

I remember wanting Drew to make it big when he came in with that "Dual Citizenship" thing and he wrestled the Major Brothers. I don't think he's a bad speaker, he just has a really heavy accent and it sort of hinders his speaking capabilites to the American/Canadian crowds. I do wish, that either he would wear the kilt he wore in FCW or those one tight things that are blue and white and have the Scottish flag on the back.
He doesn't have the right legs to wear the trunks he has on now, imo.

Time for a distinctly non-party, gentlemen. Awful generic music IMO I disagree! Well it is rather generic, but I like it anyway.

I wonder who he will feud with next. Some possiblities: Finlay Matt Hardy Kane JTG R-Truth Rey Rey Feuding with Rey might be best to get him more over. It won't be Rey most likely, due to {Spoiler}Kaval debuting soon to feud with Rey He's already feuded with R-Truth and I think Finlay. I don't see him feuding with JTG due to him being in a tag team but Matt would be good for a feud with him. Matt would be a fantastic feud for him. The whole "Chosen One vs. Forgotten One" angle, where McIntire is handed opportunities he hasn't really earned and Matt has to scrape and claw to get any opportunities, despite having was could be said to be a stellar career to this point, offers a lot of potential. It also could start making people care about McIntire (or at least give him SOME heel heat), since it would A) echo many fans feelings, and B) there are few ever who would be a better fit for that type of feud than Hardy (especially given that he is ignored enough that his current main role is to peddle the wares of a worker who isn't even with the company anymore).

OK, just because being ripped isn't an absolute necessity for a successful wrestler doesn't mean it isn't a positive. Saying that physique isn't everything is perfectly true. Saying "Who cares about physique?" is just (no offense) stupid.
