I think Shelton may of beat him, too.
That being said, Cena does have a rematch clause. And for putting Kofi away, Orton is probably kayfabe in line, too, considering his ban is now lifted.

Orton can face Sheamus...but if Sheamus loses..and Cena regains the belt...Orton cant fight for the title?? No, he can. How it works with stips like this is that they just can't challenge for it until the title changes hands. Orton's had it happen before, with Triple H, and Trips even tried to back out of it by pointing out that Orton wasn't supposed to be able to face him again until Orton mentioned that Trips had lost the title since that ban was put in place.

Orton can face Sheamus...but if Sheamus loses..and Cena regains the belt...Orton cant fight for the title?? No, he can, the ban only applied to that specific title reign. They've done that before with Edge and Christian vs the Hardyz, which they got around by winning the titles as Los Conquistadores. Hell, this is actually the second time Orton has been banned from title shots. The same thing happened when he was a face against Triple H.

Do people see a Sheamus vs Orton match...or are we waiting for Cena vs Orton again...
IMO they should let Orton feud with Upper Mid Card guys until after WM..Draft him to SD and have him be the World Champ

I say draft Goldust to Raw and have him become WWE champion Only if he then gets studs in his costume and changes his name to Blingdust.

I call triple threat. With Sheamus involved, at least it'll be something we've never seen before.

I'm kind of hoping for a Kofi vs Orton match for WM. Orton would probably win the title in a triple threat with Sheamus and Cena. Kofi wins the RR. If this happened, it probably would be at the RR since we have SIX WEEKS to build story lines.

Heh...speaking of 'Dust.....I was messing around with the color pallette in SDvsRAW2010, and ended up turning his paint job black and white, a la Rorschach from Watchmen. Looks pretty badass, and I think Goldust actually doing a more hard-edged, Rorschach like gimmick could work. /sidebar. You may continue your conversation. ;D ;D

It'll probably be Sheamus vs. Cena at the Rumble, but they'll play out Cena's number one contendership for a few weeks. I can see him getting his re-match tonight, losing in some screwy fashion (or it finishing in a no-contest), and then earning it again at the start of the year. Orton will try and get his WWE Title match, which could lead to Orton vs. Cena on Raw (they're still allowed to face each other in non-title matches, right?).
