Which PPV in the history of WWF/WWE got you excited with the build to the PPV. The Matches on the PPV??
My choice of PPV would be WM X7 - (17) the build up to the Austin/Rock fight was AWESOME and also the other matches on the card were made relevant in the build up and of course the show delivered ...of course its WM

Definately Wrestlemania X7. As you said all the matches were relevant and well built up to, especially Rock/Austin.
Wrestlemania 22 as well. Last time I was literally counting down the days until Wrestlemania.

Summerslam 2002, though I didn't have enough allowance to buy it And perhaps Wrestlemania 20 as well. The UT/Kane feud, coupled with both of the major championship angles really sold it for me that year.

From what I recall, the general consensus for WM17 was that the build up pretty much blew. Austin/Rock was basically just them talking a lot and arguing over Debra. They may as well have added Angle into the match for how often he got involved. It's just that for whatever reason, everyone was on their A game that night.
Anyhoo, I'll vote for Wrestlemania 24. A show that looked great on paper and managed to deliver at the same time.

Wrestlemania X7, Wrestlemania XX and Werestlemania XXIV. The build up to this 3 ppvs was amazing, and the shows exceded my already high expectations. Special mention for No Mercy 2001, since the sole idea of Jericho possibly winning the belt got me exited as hell.

Since I never had Sky Sports growing up, the first ppv I was excited by was In Your House december 96, Bret vs Sid I think, since it was on Sky 1. But I remember for Survivor Series 97 thinking it was so big I had to get my neighbours to record to for me. Bret vs Michaels, I literally couldnt miss that.

Invasion - Ok it didn't turn out amazing, but I couldn't wait for the two/three companies to collide with each other.
Wrestlemania 19 - Probably in the top 3 of best cards in Wrestlemania history, again remember being excited for it due to Austin/Rock III, Hogan/McMahon and HBK Jericho.

I can remember as a kid being very excited for the first Survivor Series. In several of the matches, not only were the captains involved in a feud, but the individual members on some of the teams were feuding as well. I can't remember a lot of details on the build up, but the excitement of a new concept was awesome.

Wrestlemania XIX.
You had Brock vs Angle (who barely touched each other, thanks to Kurt avoiding Brock), Hogan vs McMahon (a match for the ages), Rock vs Austin (Rock never beat Austin at Mania, desperate to do it), HBK vs Jericho (Jericho was always perceived as the next Shawn Michaels, but opted to be the first Chris Jericho, and planned to take out HBK to prove his point; built for months), HHH vs Booker T (HHH attempting to make Booker look like a fool, only for Booker to prove he's worthy of a title shot).
This had Wrestlemania written all over it, and I was excited as hell to see it.
