God knows how many times I've posted my thoughts on what the WrestleMania 26 card should be. I had a previous thread which I would have updated (I think I actually did if you want to look for it) but I've made a lot of changes so I thought a new thread was necessary.
---
Main Events
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Batista (c) v Kofi Kingston (Royal Rumble Winner)
Batista has been an absolutely dominant champion since defeating The Undertaker at TLC, with 3 successful title defences. The first being The Undertaker's rematch, the next one against Mysterio at the Rumble and the other, defeating Taker, Mysterio, Kane, Punk and Morrison in the Elimination Chamber. Kofi, on the hottest streak of anybody in WWE, wins the Rumble and opts to go for Batista's World Heavyweight Championship, becoming the first guy to jump from RAW to SmackDown via the BenoitHolly clause.
WWE Championship v The Streak: John Cena (c) v The Undertaker
John Cena has defeated all challengers in front of him. All but one. The Undertaker. Cena's intentions are pure at first. He simply wants to defeat The Undertaker. But the crowd are on The Undertakers' side, with Cena not only having to overcome the odds of 17-0, but, for the first time in years, the crowd being entirely against him. And it gets to him. He loses a couple of matches through silly mistakes. He walks out of tag matches. Cena becomes a conflicted man. What will happen if he doesn't end the streak and loses his gold as well?
Cross-Brand Spectacular: Shawn Michaels v CM Punk
Two of the finest pound-for-pound wrestlers in WWE meet one-on-one for the first time. The evergreen Shawn Michaels v the rising star CM Punk. Punk, along with his protege Luke Gallows, have both targeted the lifestyles of the audience for months. Now they're taking aim at Michaels, the man who is a symbol of redemption. Proof of making the most of that second chance. They believe all that is a facade. They believe that Michaels will always be the same old womanising, pill-popping party boy that terrorised WWE in the 90s. And they refuse to believe anything else. But Michaels is indeed a changed man. And he wants to shut them both up at WrestleMania.
RAW Grudge Match: Triple H and Ted DiBiase Jr v Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes
DiBiase has finally had enough of being in Orton's Legacy, and wants to make his own by himself. After initially accidently costing Orton a title match at the Royal Rumble, DiBiase passed the point of no return, by first attacking, then eliminating Orton from the Elimination Chamber. Orton and Rhodes wanted DiBiase's blood, leading to week-after-week of attacks and ambushes, until RAW Guest Host *Insert B-to-D grade celebrity/ies here* made a match between DiBiase and Rhodes. If DiBiase won, the match would be Orton/Rhodes v DiBiase and a partner of his choice. If Rhodes won, it would be a handicap match. DiBiase won, and chose his partner, none other than 14-time World Champion and persistent thorn in the side of Legacy, Triple H.
SmackDown Grudge Match: Chris Jericho v Edge
Edge made his shocking return on SmackDown only a few weeks before WrestleMania, costing Jericho and Big Show the very same Unified Tag Team Championship that Edge held before his injury and subsequent replacement. Now Jericho wants revenge, although Edge will have something that he hasn't had in years. The support of the fansWWE Universe.
Undercard
Money In The Bank VI Evan Bourne v Jack Swagger v Sheamus v Drew McIntyre v John Morrison v R-Truth v Yoshi Tatsu v Zack Ryder
WWE Intercontinental Championship Match Dolph Ziggler (c) v Rey Mysterio
The Miz's Awesome US Open Invitational for the WWE United States Championship The Miz (c) v Battle Royal Winner
Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match For The WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship Cryme Tyme (Shad and JTG) (c) v MVP and Mark Henry v The Hart Dynasty (Tyson Kidd and David Hart-Smith) v The Dudebusters (Caylen Croft and Trent Barreta)
Fatal 4-Way Extreme Rules Match For The ECW Championship William Regal (c) v Christian v Tommy Dreamer v Shelton Benjamin
Unification Battle Royal For The WWE Undisputed Women's Championship Mickie James v Maryse v Gail Kim v Beth Phoenix v Alicia Fox v Melina v Michelle McCool v Natalya Neidhart v Eve Torres v Katie Lea
Dark Match - 26-Man The Miz's Awesome US Open Invitational Battle Royal Participants: Big Show, Santino Marella, Carlito, Primo Colon, Chris Masters, Chavo Guerrero, Kane, The Great Khali, Matt Hardy, Finlay, Slam Master J, Charlie Haas, Mike Knox, Luke Gallows, Jimmy Wang Yang, Kung Fu Naki, Eric Escobar, Vladimir Kozlov, Ezekiel Jackson, Vance Archer, Paul Burchill, The Hurricane, Tyler Reks, Goldust and Hornswoggle.
---
Every title defended in a semi-unique way, and most everyone gets a WrestleMania paycheck. Thoughts welcome as always.

Thoughts welcome as always. I liked most of it, but I don't like every title being defend, I like the Night of Champions PPV and feel that should be a one time thing. Also I don't like 11 matches even on a 4 hour PPV. So did some fixing to make it better and more realistic in my opinion. My reasons. MITB: I want with Show, Rey, Christian and Shelton because there are bigger names that need to be on the card and you'll see below why I cut the IC & ECW title match. IC: As I said I don't like every title being defend and I don't like 11 matches, so this got cut. ECW: Same as IC. Tag: Again same as IC & ECW, but I liked you US match alot so I kept it over the Tag match.

World Heavyweight Title: Chris Jerticho vs. Edge, gives Edge a chance to get revenge and take the World Title from jericho at the same time
WWE Championship: Sheamus vs. Kofi vs. Orton vs. Ted-Sheamus could reign until this, Ted/Orton split because Ted costs Orton the RUMBLE but Orton still has a rematch since he never fought Cena again, Ted gets in thanks to a guest GM: Cowboy Bob. Kofi wins RUMBLE.
Tag Championship: HBK/HHH vs. Punk/Gallos-Straightedge degenrate and former addicted buddy vs. born again christian and big nosed buddy
Typical Streak Match: Undertaker vs. Cena-Who else could you reasonably think would end the streak?
ECW Championship: Christian Cage vs. Zack Ryder
Batista vs. Kane
MITB: Hardy vs. Truth vs. Escobar vs. Shelton vs. Yoshi vs. Swagger vs. Bourne vs. Carlito
Intercontinental Championship: Morrison vs. McIntyre
United States Championship: Miz vs. MVP

Thanks for the feedback.
I think that, as a general rule, every champion in the company at the time should be on the WrestleMania card one way or another, whether it's defending their title or being in Money In The Bank.
I should probably give a bit of backstory to the other matches, to have them make sense.
MITB: Bourne def. Chavo, Swagger def. Santino, Sheamus def. Masters, McIntyre def. Khali, Morrison def. Gallows, R-Truth def. Knox, Tatsu def. Archer and Ryder def. Jackson.
IC: Ziggler finally gets his title win over Morrison on SmackDown in the lead-up to Elimination Chamber, but only after interference from Batista (Morrison had a fluke roll-up win over him the previous week). Ziggler would want to get the last monkey off his back, and that's beating Mysterio in a title match, then he can move onto bigger and better things.
US: The Miz, by hook or by crook, has held the US title for months, and has been complaining about his lack of what he believes to be genuine title contenders, so a battle royal is announced, with the winner to fight Miz on the main card in a title match. (Miz retains against whoever wins, unless it's Big Show, who just knocks him out with one punch and wins in 20-something seconds)
ECW: Regal defeats Benjamin (who beat Christian at TLC in a late entry for '09 MOTY) at Elimination Chamber to finally get the ECW Championship he so desired. His plan for a straight-up defence against his loyal colleague Kozlov is scuppered when Tiffany announces a Fatal 4-Way between Regal, and the last 3 ECW champions (Benjamin, Christian and Dreamer). The Extreme Rules stipulation is added a couple of weeks later after a series of weapon-based attacks by the contenders.
Tag Team: As a result of Edge's return and interference, Cryme Tyme stole (but won legitimately) the tag titles. Simply put, a team from each brand would be entered in the match to fight for the titles. MVP/Henry beat Orton/Rhodes on Raw to qualify, Hart Dynasty beat Matt Hardy and R-Truth on SmackDown, and The Dudebusters beat Goldust and The Hurricane on ECW (a team I've dubbed "The Green and Gold Connection).

John Cena vs The Undertaker - WWE Championship vs The Streak
Pretty much agree with this as you wrote it. Include the conspiracy in the storyline, with the young guys across the company sick of seeing Cena on top, and telling Vince to give someone else opportunities. He agrees, and throws a lot of them against Undertaker in various matches in a tournament leading with Taker overcomming the odds and qualifying for the WWE title match at Wrestlemania. This means it's Vince's boy, vs the boy who for some reason yet to be revealed, Vince doesn't want as a champion. Cena can show inklings of a heel turn and have Vince in his corner, but shouldn't properly turn yet.
Batista vs Kofi Kingston - World Heavyweight Championship
Kofi wins the Rumble, and is convinced by Long to sign for Smackdown. He says he took exception to the way Batista feels he can bully smaller guys and that he's no different from Orton with his sneak attacks on Taker, and decides to prove that you don't have to be the archetypal powerhouse to be a World Champion in this business. Batista plays the HHH 2006 role, not taking Kofi seriously initially and thinks he will sqaush him like all the rest, which is to his downside as Kofi gives Batista a mightily competitive match and wins the belt, launching his career.
CM Punk vs HBK
Writes itself, Punk decides to get on his soapbox about HBK's past addictions, saying there's no way he has really changed. HBK is out to prove once and for all that he has, to put the demons behind him.
HHH vs Sheamus
Sheamus has been on a path of destruction since losing to Cena at TLC. He has been putting people out of action, and his sheer brutality has lead to Stephanie McMahon returning to the screen for the build up to Mania. She says she's sick of Sheamus being so brutal and decimating her valuable assets on the roster but because he's on a contract and can't be fired for in effect being good at what he does, she has got the guy to stop the brutality once and for all. She brings out her husband, the Cerebral Assassin HHH. I'd have Sheamus have a competitive match and would like to see him go over here, although I will understand if they think it is too soon.
MITB - Morrison vs Miz vs Swagger vs Big Show vs Rhodes vs Dibiase vs Bourne vs Rey
Morrison wins after some insane spots. Build can centre around Morrison vs Miz, with their race to become a world champion and get the opportunity first to prove once and for all who is the Jannety, and who is the Michaels.
Edge vs Chris Jericho
Feud writes itself after their tag split. They will have to add more to the feud than simply 'You slagged me off almost a year ago' though, but the match should definately happen.
Randy Orton in the celebrity feud this year - I can't find any other viable opponent but he will be a great character to go up against a well known star.
Pre Show Battle Royal with the winner facing the Intercontinental Champion in a title match straight after involving all the other guys. Winner - Christian.
So much talent this year and I would have liked to feature guys like Christian and Kane more, but it's very tough!
