It's funny, Conan has always been a company man while Leno has always tried to be a one-man company.
This won't end well for anyone.

Wow. I want to say that it sucks for Conan, but upon further reflection, this may be a huge blessing in disguise. Despite what he, and many of us, thought,it has become clear that NBC has no plans of having the "torch being passed". After so many years, we all thought Conan would become "the top dog", but he still is forced to play 2nd fiddle to Leno. I hope he goes to Fox(or another big network), has an 11:30 PM timeslot, and just kills Leno's ratings. That would be the greatest. Its times like these that I wish Carson(Johnny, not Daly) was still with us. I'd like to hear what he has to say about this whole mess.

I actually have no opinion on one or the other, in terms of who's better. They're two completely different types of hosts. It'd be like comparing an MVP Quarterback and a Cy Young pitcher and asking who's better. They're both great, but different. Neither one is necessarily 'better' than the other one(if Conan tried to be Johnny, he'd fail. But no one can out-Conan Conan). Carson didn't like Jay apparently that's exactly why I wish he was still alive. Dave would be trying SO HARD to get him on his show to dish. Don't know if Johnny would stoop low enough to go on TV to bash Jay, but I bet we'd get at least one off-color comment.

Indeed. He has no worries about being deemed 'too racey', considering the stuff Family Guy and the Simpsons pull off 2-3 hours earlier. Fox is just as prominent a network as NBC(and currently is in much better shape than NBC), and like someone said, Fox knows how to promote the f*** out their shows.

This is ironic, because just five years ago Fox was known as the network that haphazardly cancels a show without giving it a shot or promoting it correctly, while NBC was a proven hit-maker with shows that didn't start off strong.
How the times change.

How the times change. Fox still is far from perfect in aspect such as this. Its just that they'll probably sign Conan to a big contract(bigger than his current one). So big, I'm predicting, that it would be more cost effective to keep him on the air then buy him out of his contract. Most of the new sitcoms and stuff that are created and start out poorly are cheap(in TV terms.Still millions of dollars) because its usually a bunch of unheard of actors with newish writers and production crews and whatnot., so canceling them really is better.

If Coco goes to Fox and that is still an if at this point I hope he takes everyone with him he seems like the kind of guy who would.

I hope Conan does goes to Fox, that way we can get the Conan that we all love back. Leno is a dick in my opinion and I haven't found him funny for years.

I just remembered that Leno is going to be about 2 blocks from my house in a couple months. If tickets weren't too expensive, it'd be awesome to turn a section of Beasley into "The Cone Zone" while he did stand-up.

If NBC screws Conan over, I seriously riot! NBC has proven to be a worse run network than FOX! There's no excuse for this. They strong-armed Jay out in favor of Conan. Now they want a do-over? Bullshit!

Conan is going to address the rumor on The Tonight Show tonight. That what I read from the official Tonight Show's facebook page.

He should just tell NBC to go f*** themselves. I can't imagine any other network treating him this badly.

I have been tired of NBC B.S. since the Scrubs treatment in its last couple of years on the network before it went to ABC.

I loved Conan's show back in the late 90's, before Andy left. I only watched a few of Conan's tonight show episodes. I would have probably watched more if he was on a channel I actually watched.

Conan's ripping NBC apart...guess he's not going to take 12. Here's part of what he said.
"We have a great show tonight, I'll have no idea when it will air...I'm sure you've all heard the rumors...they've come up with an exciting new idea to have me follow Leno (Conan and Andy kinda say it sarcastically) There was a 1923 Duessenberg parked in my spot (imitates Leno and his love of cars)
