How can someone copyright "new world order"? It's in the bible. I'm sure they couldn't use the old nWo logo, since McMahon bought all the intellectual property from WCW, but I'm not so sure about the name itself. It can be copyrighted for "events and merchandise related to professional wrestling, sports and, entertainment" like everything else they do. That's probably how they copywrited John Cena.

WWE copyrights a lot of things that can't be enforced. If John Cena were to move on to TNA using his real name, WWE cannot stop John Cena from using his real name in any capacity. He could still have merchandise for John Cena in TNA, be marketed as John Cena, etc. What it's done for is merely to prevent TNA from making a wrestler named John Cena as a character who isn't the real John Cena. Now, if TNA hired someone that was named John Cena in real life. WWE cannot enforce this either.

They should call it The oWo.............Old World Order. It isn't exactly new anymore since it is 13 years old. It also works considering Hogan, Hall, and Nash are ancient. Or they could go the other route and use Juggalo World Order and bring in ICP with Scott Hall.

Well, I would argue that they are trying to do the same thing that they did in 1996, that is, create a new world order of professional wrestling. I mean, the NWO made a lot of money, so trying to copy it's success is hardly a stupid idea. It's a good idea. And if they use it to create new stars and new angles and make money for the company, great.

Can't they just call them The Wolf-pack I don't know. I really doubt they will call them anything similar to the old NWO if this is the direction they are going towards.

I bet whatever Hogan's company/faction/stable is actually succeeds in taking over TNA like the NWO never did with WCW. They could use a name change anyway.

Considering how plainly Nash is saying this, it's bound to be a red herring anyhow.

To keep with TNA's mafia theme, Hogan and who he's with could be the Mustache Petes.

Absolutely not. The last thing we need is YET ANOTHER NWO Revival. Not even DX has been brought back as many times as this group has. Um, DX has been brought back far more times than the nWo. The nWo had one unbroken three year run from '96 to '99. Then they were brought back in I think 2000. Then they came back in 2002. DX started in '97. Then Shawn left, and Trips took over - you could count that as a revival, I'll skip it for the sake of argument. Then they broke up. Then they came back as heels in '99. Then they came back in 2006. And repeatedly for 'one night only' in 2008. And 2009.

And repeatedly for 'one night only' in 2008. And 2009. While there was one uninterrupted period of time where there was an nWo, there were like, 7 different incarnations of the group during that time before they were brought back by WWE (Original, Japan, Hollywood, Elite, Black and White, 2000, and then the WWE nWo). Maybe he's considering all those different versions as revivals of the group? If you include all the "one night only" DX revivals, it trumps it by far, still. But I wouldn't really consider that a revival, as I don't think teaming together again on one show (and a dozen assorted house shows) really counts.
