I can't stand a woman who smoke cigarettes, the smell gets into their clothes and their hair. Now I have no issues with a women who smokes weed because (outside of the fact I smoke it) I enjoy the aroma of weed and it doesn't make a girl's breath stink.

That's not shallow. If you said no because of her looks, that would be shallow. I'm shallow then. I'd rather be shallow then force myself into a stagnant sexual relationship that I don't enjoy or want to participate in. There's a girl at work right now thats interested, seems like an alright girl, but I don't like her sexually. How is dating her and not wanting her in a romantic way any different then just being friends like we are? Well, I guess I'd have to buy dinner more often. I'm not sure why I'm shallow for just wanting to have a well rounded relationship with a rounded series of attractions - both to looks and personality. But, if it makes me shallow to not want to be with someone I have no attraction too, I'm shallow.

I'm not a fan of girls who smoke myself but it wouldn't enough to turn me off, if she was hot. If that's the only reason, then you're clutching for straws, man. I would just go out of the room, if she stopped smoking. Most people I know spray their breath afterwards, anyways.

But she is a friend of mine who happens to have wanted more. I don't care how much breathe spray a person uses or how much perfume or Fabreeze a person uses...nonsmokers can still smell and taste that crap. I'm not clutching for straws....I see it as saving a friendship from ending up a bad relationship because there is no way I could be close physically to a person with that kind of pointless addiction and smell.

I remember the first person I really made out with was smoking and while we were kissing after the fact I could just smell the tobacco and smoke on her and I was thinking geez DieselTrain what the hell are you doing??? I was 17 and it was happening so I went along with it even if it did gross me out.
