Wow, Axl might be THE most hostile artists to his own fans when it comes to people who show up to his concerts.
Between this and leaving people waiting for 2 hours ,what's next, is he going to ban his fans from singing along with him at shows?

I thought Chinese Democracy was a great album.
Axl is very much as asshole, though.

Also....it's been claimed the story is false.
Fernando Lebeis, the son of Beta Lebeis — GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose's personal assistant — has denied reports that security at GN'R's Winnipeg concert banned fans from wearing Slash gear inside the show.
According to TMZ.com, concert security informed fans at the January show that they were required to turn their Slash t-shirts inside out .... and leave their top hats outside.
TMZ.com spoke with a member of the concert security team who "confirmed the marching orders — and told [the web site] the instructions were passed down from a producer for the band."
However, Fernando Lebeis has denied that any such ban ever took place. Writing on a GN'R message board, he said, "We did not advise any security to ban any sort of apparel.... If they did, they did it on their own accord, or under someone else's order — from within their management."

Eh, who knows, Axl is mad enough to do such a thing. You seen the size of him lately though?
Also, I find this video relevant (language warning):

Also, I find this video relevant (language warning): yea, ive seen clips and pics, Axl is in better shape then hes been in years past, and his braids are gone, and his voice is back, when they did nice boys in tokyo is sounded exactly like he did in 86...as for that clip, its from 2002...its not that revelent to me now. i think at this point people should know that slash isnt in gnr..its like people who go see the misfits wearing Danzig shirts. Slash quit gnr in 96. its been a long time since hes been in the GnR fold. in the guitar center by my house theres a pic of DJ Ashba on the wall and it says "DJ Ashba - Lead Guitar Guns n' Roses" and then theres the guitar world mag from 2006 that had a 4 page article on Bumblefoot talking about GnR. and the 5 page artical with Tommy Stinston talking about playing bass in GnR and the history of Chinese Democracy in Bass player monthly when the album came out. GnR arent trying to pull a fast one making us think the originals are still there. i mean, wwe banns nWo shirts at events, my friend sarah was asked by secutity of busch stadium last year to turn her Edmonds jersy inside out because hes no longer with the team...

What do you say good sir? My top hat is not welcome here? Well, if my top hat isn't welcome here. Then neither am I. I bid you good day sir! I shall leave your Guns 'n' Roses concert, and instead take my wife Mary to Ford's Theatre to take in a play!

Axl really is a turd sandwich. I saw them in 2006, and since someone had the "brilliant" idea to put Funeral for a Friend on before them, the stage was wet, and he fell on his arse and stormed off for 20 minutes, leaving Bumblefoot to entertain the crowd, and incidentally, be the only good thing about the whole set.
He then stormed off a few songs later because he (I wish I was kidding.) needed a shower. The show concluded with the band playing one song every 15 minutes, jamming what can only be described as 70's porn music in between until Axl barely croaked his way through Paradise City at the end.
For the record: I f***ing love FFAF, but they're hardly a suitable support act.

Yeah, gonna go with not believing this.
Slash was banned from Guns' House of Blues show some years back, but a Slash Tshirt, I really doubt is being banned.

i mean, wwe banns nWo shirts at events... Are you sure? Don't they own the trademark? I know they're currently selling nWo shirts on wweshop.com... it would be kind of weird if they banned them.

i just looked at the pics...i saw those pics and realized that they only showed 2 photos from the first japan show instead of the other 300 some photos out there already from the tour, plus in comparison from 2001, 2002, and 2006 Axl is in better shape now then he has been. also yes, i went to a supershow here in chicago a year ago, and there were a few people with nWo shirts, the security was making them either turn them inside out or take a free wwe shirt to wear over it. also at the ragina show there was a big banner that a fan had draped on one of the balconies by the stage that had the original band with slash and nobody was asked to take it down. and like i said my friend jessica at the saskatoon show was wearing her velvet revolver shirt and was in the 2nd row right by Axl's front of the stage. and nothing was said to her about it. you wanna talk about seeing the size of somebody lately... Glenn Danzig ladies and gents...
