What times can you think of when something goes wrong(a botch per se) or something too obvious(Kevin Nash dressing up as Sting) to cover up, yet the commentators act like they believe it.
Here's one I can think of.....

I always get really offended when they "Kayfabe-break kayfabe" by having a commentator go to the ring to check on an injured wrestler. When Owen died, Jerry Lawler ran in to check on him, and from now on whenever I see the run in I think they're doing it because they were "inspired by Owen's death." I know that's an awful way to look at it, but I can't stop thinking about it that way.

Wow, that Giant/Savage botch was AWESOME. I do not remember seeing that in Botchamania.

Isn't Low Ki in character all the time? Considering he looks like a constipated ape when he's trying to look mean this can't be good.

Similarly to this, I hate the way every single week on Raw now King and Cole always act shocked and go real quiet at least once every show. It ruins the action for me because you know if JR was there he'd be going mental: "GOOD GOD, THIS IS HEINOUS! WHAT KIND OF HUMAN BEING COULD DO THIS, THAT SICK SON OF A..."

Me to, I hate how worked shoots, they defeat the purpose of protecting kayfabe. When they say "This is not part of the show", it makes me think "So everything else was an act?" You're right, Owen Hart's death killed kayfabe, but that was beyond anybody's control.

Sheik and Duggan being arrested for drugs while riding in the car together.
"What's a GOOD guy and a BAD guy doing riding together??!" was reported on several news shows at the time.

Not quite what is refered to in the OP but, when Louis Spicolli died, Larry Z maintained kayfabe and, it was extremely poor.

Yep but interestinly enough I think they edited that out of the Nitro when the y put it on WWEclassic on demand. It's playing this week and I don't remember hearing Larry say anything about it.

From what I read, everyone at Nitro was instructed to not mention Louie at all and I think Larry Z only was allowed to mention him by saying, "I'd like to say something but out of respect for his family, I won't" and that was it.

Right WCW, because the classy thing to do is to not mentioned it when one of your young employees dies. Another fine move.

From what I understand, WWF did not mention him either or put up a graphic (when did that custom begin?), nor did WWF or WCW send flowers or condolences (if anyone heard different, please correct me). I'm not sure if anyone from the two companies attended his funeral.

He was in WCW at the time, as Scott Hall's lackey.

He didn't mention something, and that part was not edit out on WWE Classics On Demand. I don't know what WCW deal was? They were trying to half way it, they either should not mention Louie at all, or tried to act a little respectful. They did improve when Rick Rude died, since all his time at WCW he was a despecable heel, last time he was in WCW he was an NWO member. They acknowledge his death, but didn't say anthing nice nor negative about him. They didn't give him a In Memory dedecation at the beginning of their shows. They just casual mentioned it during the broadcast of Thunder, while the WWF did a whole feature on Rude. I don't know why WCW had such an issue with showing respect for deaths of heels, WCCW handled Gino Hernandez death better. They didn't completely break kayfabe, but they showed respect at best they could.

Wasn't ECW the only company that acknowledged Spiccoli's death by having all the ECW crew stand in the ring and give Spicolli a moment of silence and a 10 bell salute.

Showing the 3 weeks worth of footage of Joey Marella still refereeing after his death and not airing the tribute till mid August, I'm surprised Monsoon didn't quit over that, he took 2 months off but was back announcing Challenge in September
