Does anyone know exactly what the kids say during his intro to the match? My speakers suck too bad for me to make it out.

When a man's heart is full of deceit it burns up, dies, and a dark shadow falls over his soul. From the ashes of a once great man has risen a curse, a wrong that must be righted. We look to the skies for a vindicator, someone to strike fear into the black heart of the same man who created him. The battle between good and evil has begun. Against an army of shadows comes the Dark Warrior, the purveyor of good, with a voice of silence, and a mission of justice. This is Sting

Ahhh.. the greatest angle and character of the Monday Night Wars. Had a terrible blowoff.. but this was simple booking at it's best.
Also, probably the best Thunder moment was when Sting was full fledged WCW.. and they debuted the McCully Culken theme. When everyone knew Sting was here to destroy the nWo.

Vince could learn a little something from the angle... GIVE YOUR ANGLES A LITTLE MORE TIME TO DEVELOP!!! not one or two months.
I love the music during the entrance. Gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.

The theme and that voiceover monologue were great. Stings entrance at Starrcade wasnt. He just plainly walks out, raises his arms for some generic pyro, and then walks to the ring.
They could have played it up that he wasnt about theatrics that night, but it was kinda ruined once he raised his arms and all that...

One of the best entrances ever for sure, shame the blow off got botched, and the nWo drug on too long. This should have been the end of the nWo angle honestly. I still think it's weird that the most Sting was ever over in his career was when he didn't talk for a year.

Such a great angle, and this is the bit that ALWAYS gave me chills as a kid, and still does: Very cool. I remember taping this on VHS. Wasn't this also the night Raven debuted in WCW?

I'm the only one that missed cool Sting with the blonde hair and the WOOOOO, I wish he would've kept that gimmick

Even as a big fan of both Sting and The Crow film...I thought the kid's speech was corny as hell.
It goes on too long, it's too flowery, and 'purveyor of good' makes it sound like Sting's a shopkeeper.
Apart from that and a few other niggles, the entire Sting vs the nWo angle was excellent.
