Do not agree with number 10. There is really no reason why Dusty should have retired back in 88. Sure, he did get a pretty shitty gimmick, but that's not really his fault. And flair was still able to go pretty well until he retired.
As for the honorable mentions list, the fact that he has Albert on the list is pretty laughable, especially since he has "zero talent and likability". Guess that's why he's one of the more popular Americans working in Japan at the moment.

I can't find much to disagree with in the main list. Though Dusty was happy enough with the polka dots, as they apparently put him through the 'pay windah'.
I wouldn't pay a penny to watch any of the other guys in that list, though.
Definitely disagree with Mark Henry as being one of the guys who should have been let go, though. He's a pretty good monster heel.

Some good picks there. Nash really does need to hang it up for good.

Gotta agree with the list pretty much except for Ahmed Johnson, Ric Flair, and Roddy Piper. Piper was pretty watchable until 2000 where he became just plain out right crazy and incoherent.
Good thing this never aired.
I remember Ahmed being pretty good and then he came to WCW and all of sudden he sucked. That was painful to watch. Ric should have quit wrestling when WCW died; if he had just stayed on the mic things would have been fine but then he decided to get back in the ring. I really wish every match he had from 2002 onwards had never happened and I didn't even see Ric Flair in the eighties, so I can only imagine what it was like for those who had.

The Dudleys get an honorable mention, but Jimmy Snuka is nowhere to be found? This list is bogus.

I agree with Kevin Nash. It is a shame that he is one of the youngest people in this list, yet has the least mobility. Ric Flair even Terry Funk and Dusty Rhodes could move better than him even if they wrestle right now and came out of retirement. The big shame is that all of them are at least 10 years older than him.

I'm glad they gave Stevie a shout out at the end. ...and the Disco Inferno! If ever a wrestler and a gimmick should get a token entrance at the Royal Rumble, this is it.

The main reason I even pointed out this blog article is because it has several Wrestlecrap mentions on it.

Jake "the Snake" should have made the list and probably been #1. He is the epitome of someone that has overstayed their welcome in wrestling. I also think Jimmy Snuka, Wahoo McDaniel, Buddy Rogers, Dick "the Bruiser", Freddie Blassie, Tommy Rich and the original Sheik should have been considered. For the most part the list looked good, I thought Dusty could have stayed off the list(his gimmic sucked, but when he joined the WWF he was 42, not exactly way over the hill for a wrestler.) Obviously alot of wrestlers perform well into their 40s, 50s and sometimes 60s. I think if you can stay healthy, be in reasonable physical condition, draw crowds and still wrestle an entertaining match then there should still be a place for a wrestler to perform. Heck Terry Funk wrestled well into his 50s and argueably had his best work in the last 15 years of his career.

Ric Flair should've been 1 - 10.

Ric Flair should've been 1 - 10. I dunno Flair still produced at least 3 really good matches that I can remember in his last two years in the WWE. Flair/HBK Retirement Flair/Edge TLC for World Title Flair/HHH Steel Cage

They forgot the Iron Sheik. I watched a match he was in around 1990...jesus christ he couldn't even bend! Not to mention his stuff in the WWF in 1991...he should've just retired back when he got fired for the cocaine.

Bret Hart
If he left before Monteral he would have not had to have been 'screwed'. If he never went to WCW to continue his career Goldeberg wouild never have superkicked him in the head.

David Arquette? REALLY? He wresled like... two or three matches. The booking was wrestlecrap, but it was't like they kept pushing him and pushing him.
Bob Holly deserved his spot.
I'm taking it this list is old, Henry's definitely stepped up some.
Katie Vick's a joke, but David Flair and Disco Inferno in the list of "keepers"? REALLY? I'm a big Disco fan, but there's a ton of other people who deserved kept around over them. How about Crowbar, O'Haire, Matt Morgan, Simon Dean off the top of my head.
Oh, and X-Pac shouldn't have been number one. The fact of the matter is... "X-Pac heat", even if you believe in it, is better than no heat.

As for the honorable mentions list, the fact that he has Albert on the list is pretty laughable, especially since he has "zero talent and likability". Guess that's why he's one of the more popular Americans working in Japan at the moment. The mention was of Albert, not of Giant Bernard. Giant Bernard is one of the best "big men" out there today. Albert, on the other hand, was an ugly, hairy man who stunk up the joint on a fairly regular basis. I don't think it's due to the WWF/E booking team. He's like Tomko in the sense that he got better when he went to Japan.
