I'm a big fan of "what if" and "how I'd book it" scenarios, and I wanted to see what everyone's favorite ones were.
My personal favorite was one I had read from this guy a long time back, right around when Foley was Commissioner and HHH was champ, I believe. It had HHH losing the title and wanting a rematch. But Foley wouldn't give it to him. In fact, Foley was going to teach HHH a lesson in humility by sending him to the bottom of the ladder so that he'd have to work his way up again. He was going to have to earn his way back into the title hunt. So, every week, for a few weeks, HHH wrestles non-televised dark matches, which are reported about every so often on air. When Foley feels like he's ready, he graduates to wrestling on Heat. Then to Raw. I'm pretty sure the whole thing ended woth HHH winning back the title as a face (it's been a while since I've read it first). I always thought how that'd be a neat storyline.

Raven's "seven deadly sins" idea he had near the end of his stint in the WWE. A pox on the WWE for not only not letting him use it but releasing him as well!

The "abortion" of snitsky's push was way too soon. He should have been the one who replaces Kane as a true monster.

I always wondered who 'Still Remembers', regarding the letter in Booker T's locker room.
Oh, and Mordecai's feud with Eddie that was hinted at, but never happened.

The Blond Bytch Project.
And, I remember Vince Russo saying he wanted to bring in Tom Green as the one behind GTV.

Hurricane versus an equally crazed, nerdy Super Villian.
Pirate. Burchill. World. Champion.

Oh. Another Raven one from his shoot interview. A feud involving himself, Tommy Dreamer and The Hurricane. Basically, Raven would have been the devil on Hurricane's shoulder and Dreamer would have been the angel. Raven would try to corrupt him while Dreamer would be the voice of reason. It would have gone on for however long and in the end Hurricane would have ended up turning heel..but also at the expense of Raven. I.E.: he out heeled the heel.
In retrospect. Here's what WWE creative had in mind. Hurricane and Trish win a match against Victoria and Stevie. At the end of the match Trish hugs Hurricane. Hurricane develops a crush. Hurricane writes her a note asking her to go out him with. Trish says no. Hurricane turns heel. The end.

Raven should've just been allowed to run WWE...I remember hearing this one...right before he debuted in the fall of 2000, Kane turned heel against the Undertaker. Apparently, Raven was to come in as Kane's new mentor, and be the only one that could control this monster. That would've been nice.

Hell they just wasted Raven completely. There were so many ready to make feuds there. One idea I always had, was for Raven to go 1996 Sandman fued on Mankind turning him back into the quivering masochistic wreck when he debuted and under the spell of Raven who uses him as a weapon against the more established stars to create a main event/upper midcard slot for himself. But noooo, lets waste him in pointless, repetitive hardcore title matches and never give him anything to do. He could've been a modern day Jake Roberts for them, but instead, nothing.

If I may go for a rant real quick, I hated that almost every face wrestler always wanted to get in Trish's pants. It was like WWE trying to convince me that I should find Trish attractive because some of my favorite wrestlers do. And if Hurricane turned because of that, I would have been uberly pissed.

Elaboration on earlier idea:
Gregory Helms keeps up the secret identity gimmick with the Hurricane, occassionally just wrestling as Gregory Helms.
When Simon Dean debuts in 2004, Nova debuts as well as a Super Villian gimmick. Nova and Hurricane fued- however, Gregory Helms also develops a fued against Simon Dean.
Til a pay per view where they fight eachother twice and one night- they would be played off as completely oblivious to eachother's secret identities.

I have a feeling this may be the "Raven got misused thread" because let's face it.. most of the 90's/early 00's, Raven was the most interesting character in wrestling. Then comes the WWF and he's treated as solely a hardcore wrestler.. when a whole bunch of his career he was the guy that outsmarted the hardcore wrestlers instead of just pointless usage of chairs and tables. Even in WCW they let him be Raven for awhile.. and it was good. But Raven in WWF was just sad to watch.

Thank god that second didn't happen. Yeah, good thing that instead of that happening, we got him turning heel and losing the next night to Jerry Lawler. *shakes head*
