We all have that one list of movies. Well known, popular movies that everyone has seen and you want to see but have never gotten around to seeing.
Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I've never gotten around to seeing them.
Scarface. A movie I'm curious about but have so far never had the time for.
All I can think of for now.

I probably should see Avatar...but that's what most would probably tell me, since I don't give a crap about it. However, I've wanted to see the Coan Brother's The Serious Man. Since it's well documented here that I love anything Coan Brothers. Yet I didn't get a chance to see The Serious Man.

If it makes you feel any better, it didn't come to my area either. Had to drive a hour away to go watch it. Same thing happened with Hurt Locker last summer. Both were worth it. As to the OP's question...probably "Singing in the Rain." AFI put it in their Top 10 list, considered by many the greatest musical, and...well one of those "classics" you're expected at the very least to check out this side of Citizen Kane, The Godfather, Casablanca, etc. Gone with the Wind sucks though.

I have never seen Planes, Trains and Automobiles. I haven't seen a Godfather sequel (even though the first is in my top 5 all-time films) I've only seen one of the "Road to..." films. Are you speaking of the Road To films with Bing and Bob? They're pretty good ... The movie I should see that I haven't seen yet is Fight Club.

Gone with the Wind is kind of boring, I sat through it as a kid and thought it was long and drawn out. But Singing in the Rain is an excellent film. I'm not a movie snob or anything, but it's one of the classics that I'm happy to say I've seen. Along with Casablanca and The Godfather. Usually my movie tastes run to action films, comedies, and westerns, but these classics never fail to entertain me. I haven't seen Fight Club yet either. Blazing Saddles is another. Blazing Saddles is hilarious. Judging by the fact that you post on this board, it should fit in with your sense of humor.

"The Bourne..." trilogy. It interests me, but I need to be in the right mood. Same with "The Matrix..." films.
Never saw the last Pirates of the Carribbean film. I liked the other two, but setting aside 3 hours is tough.
And, I know it's some sort of misdemeanor if I post on this site, but I never seen "The Big Lebowski".

Those are the only ones that come to mind at the moment. There are a lot of supposedly good movies that I haven't seen and really want to.

Never watched any of the Harry Potter movies or The Pirate of the Caribbean movies. As much money and how so many flock to see them. I never went to them. I still have no interest in Harry Potter.
I have a lot of movies that I haven't watched from start to finish that I really need too. Mainly the new series Star War movies. None of them I haven't seem the whole movie. I catch the middle or end of them on the movie channels. I should go and rent them or something. The orginal series I watched them all. Haven't when they started making them again.

Since it's well documented here that I love anything Coan Brothers. Yet I didn't get a chance to see The Serious Man. It's A Serious Man and Coen Brothers. My advice for you for that movie is to watch that movie with a big thinking cap, research the parts you didn't get, and watch it a second time and it's so much better when you watch it a second time once you get everything. Anyways back to my list: -Basically every Golden Age Classic or Great Movie or Epics from the 20's - 60's like: Casablanca, Laurence of Arabia, Sunset Blvd., Vertigo, Citizen Kane, M, Maltese Falcon, A lot of Chaplin movies, etc. -Schindlers List -Goodfellas -Network -Brazil -Letters from Iwo Jima -Casino -Butch Cassidy -There will be Blood -King of Comedy -The Searchers -Once Upon a Time in the West -Any Akira Kurosawa movie - and more obviously...
