I'm not getting it right away. I liked the first one, but not enough to be dying to play this one.
Here's hoping there is less driving around on the most geographically insane planets and more actual things to do on those planets. Oh, and not going inside the same building a million times. And no elevators.

they fixed most of the problems from everything I'm hearing (sigh... from bootleggers) but they did ammo for some reason.
yes I'm complaining about the addition of ammo, bite me.

And no elevators. From what I've gathered from reviews, your wishes were granted - there is no driving whatsoever, you don't really explore the planets (surveying minerals and stuff like that is done from space), you don't go inside the same building a million times any more (because the sidequests are now no longer the same thing over and over again) and there are no elevators to be seen. (there are, however, loading screens) I just preordered ME2 for the 360 a couple of minutes ago.

Like I said, I liked the first one, just wasn't blown away by it.

Awww, but I'll miss defying the laws of physics by going up sheer cliff faces and randomly flying around if I so much as even touch a rock. If Shepherd calls someone a big stupid jellyfish here, I'd be happy.

Wizard did it. Or....if the guns look different enough, they can say the guns in the first game were energy based weapons that effectively were unlimited while the guns in this game need ammo fed into them. It's a stretch and a cop out, yes, but it could be an explanation. Any explanation is better than no explanation.

Well, I just started ME2, imported my ME1 character, and I'm already pissed.
They took out the really badass looking facial feature that had the scar going through the right eye. I absolutely LOVED having that look on my Shepard. Made him look even more like a badass.

I absolutely LOVED having that look on my Shepard. Made him look even more like a badass. So whats the point of having an import feature if your guy won't even look the same? He looks exactly the same, they just got rid of the absolutely badass scar. Now he has other scars. Also, with the import feature, it boosts your stats when you start depending on how awesome your character was.

well, the characters have much better textures on them now.
for example, in mass effect one my guys blond pompadour had weird texture layering in it. in this game it actually looks like blond pompadour!

Um...is anybody else stuck when you have to help Archangel? Help him defend his position...and I can't activate the checkpoint after it.

also about the scars, I think if you read you're mass effect emails they say something about your scars having to deal with whether or not you're a paragon or a renegade. So that's probably why all your scars are gone but now you have new glowy ones.
