I haven't watched Raw in about two months, I had to drive my grandmother to the airport at 4AM this morning so I stayed at her house last night and watched Raw in the basement to keep myself entertained. But I was more in a "...que?" mode afterwards.
Van Dam and Sabu being partners with Cena.. something about it just made me think of less than 6 months ago when Van Dam/Sabu were hell bent on destroying Cena. At least with mention of this, they can build inner team turmoil and have RVD turn on Cena.. then again, in Philly, who'd be the face? Not a hard one.. Also, if Kane and Big Show are going against each other on seperate teams, shouldn't at least something of their recent history be mentioned.
It just seems like such lazy writing and no attention to anything but the last week (and even that is stretching it). I remember why I stopped watching in the first place. Oh to those of you who say Ken Doane is the next big thing.. did you hear him on the mic? Autrocious. He may have skill, lots of it, but in the E you're gonna need to be able to do better than he does with cutting a promo... well, unless you're Orton who reminds most of 10th grade drama club when he screams "Shut the hell up!" and throws a tantrum.

I've heard Doane cut good promos before, I think he's fine on the mic. They just need to get him and Jeter away from the squad sooner than later. As for WWE continuity, how about those best buddies Shawn and Hunter who brutalized each other for the better part of 2 years? And right before Mania this year Triple H and Vince layed the beatdown on HBK on Raw.

Good post but you have to remember the C word is a dirty word in the WWE.
And I'm not talking about Shirt Ripper!!!.
(OK WHO'S IDEA WAS IT TO FILTER THE C-WORD FOR A VAG INTO HULK HOGAN? I WANT ANSWERS!)

lol @ Orton's primadonnishness.
But yeah I see what you're saying, and in all fairness a lot of these teams shoot continuity in the foot. HHH teaming with 3 guys he said weren't draws or lacked the IT factor for example. But that's the way Survivor Series teams are sometimes, they're thrown together without any real reason at times.

That bothers you more than HHH being buddyish with Cena? Or Flair? Remember the seemingly endless beating HHH gave Flair last year?

I wasn't watching too much when Flair and HHH were feuding and DX has somewhat made me ignore the thought of Triple H as much as possible. Edit.. I did however forget to mention Dusty and Flair on the same side. Isn't it possible to have a heel legend somewhere!?

I don't have a problem with Sabu and Rob Van Dam teaming up with John Cena after they feuded a few months ago. Or with Shawn and Triple H reforming D-X after spending two years at each others throats. Or Ric Flair teaming up with Triple H, the man who tried to retire him last year. You see, this sort of thing happens all the time in wrestling: enemies become friends. Remember, Steve Austin and Vince McMahon were bitter enemies in 1998 and 1999. Then, in 2001, they were buddies for a short. And, Austin was teaming up with Triple H, the man who had Rikishi run Austin over in 1999. Also, Roddy Piper and Hulk Hogan became allies in the late 1980s/early 1990s even though they were bitter enemies in 1985. It happens all the time. Two guys feud for a long time. Then, the feud ends, and the two guys move on. Then, the same two guys end up becoming allies and friends. This is as common as pinfalls and submission holds. Time heals all wounds, and in wrestling, it happens very quickly.

Also, the blond hair, the nose, the high flying. I am not at all suggesting Kenny is anywhere as good as Owen was, but I am just saying I see a similarity. I tried to find a pic from when he was about the same age as Kenny.

Like McMahon and Austin teaming up.. the unthinkable, but neccessary team up. It's just out of the blue, unexplained teaming up and buddy buddy with a guy you hated less than a year ago that irks me.
