Thread info, for every match up: {Spoiler} (This was inspired by the fan-thread of Deadliest Warrior.)
This is fictional fights, where I set up two fictional characters against one another in a match up battle. From then on any posters here, argue or debate who would win in a fight between the two fictional characters.
NO Poll, will be given for this as this is NOT a Popularity Contest.
A poll will be given, but this is not a popularity contest. It's for who you think would win in a fight.
This can be determined in a combination in many different ways, whether that be with weapons, fighting style, strength, intelligence, skill, strategies, abilities, powers, battle tactics, or whatever you can think of. Remember to give Reasons!
I will be playing the role Deadliest Warrior "expert" "The Computer Nerd, who picks who gets the win."
I'm going into this with a clean mind, with not pre-conceived notions on who will win. I pick the winner, based on the better argument, on whichever character would win.
Alot of the times, I don't know much about these characters, or weapons, so I'm depending on the "experts" of each character to help me out, in determining who is the Deadliest Fictional Fighter!Next match up, is not from video games, but movies this time. Robocop vs T-800 (Original Design) Robocop's weapon's and abilities: robocop.wikia.com/wiki/RobocopT-800's weapon's and abilities: terminator.wikia.com/wiki/T-800If someone would be so kind as to actually organize weapon's and or abilities, for each, be my guest. == Last thread's results: Nathan Drake Defeats Lara Croft.

The original Terminator was destroyed by a waitress. Robocop would win this easily. RObocop vs Skynet is a different matter, though.

Ughhh I always hate this contest because people just rush to judgment and always yell "Terminator!" Here's why Robocop would beat a single T-800 any day: - Humans survive against machines because of their ingenuity, critical thinking,
opposable thumbs, and general will to live.
- Machines survive against humans because of their strength, analytical abilities,
sexy fembots, and cold, calculating precision.
Guess what Robocop has? The best of both worlds. He is to the machines what Blade is to vampires in this case. He processes data just as quickly as the machines, and he's just as tough and strong. He also has the ability to think critically and know when it's time for fight and when it's time for flight. He can set traps and has years of police officer experience to back him up. Sarah Conner and Kyle Reese can beat a T-800 and there is not a single thing either one of those can do better than Robocop. Now, to address Robocop's weaknesses before everyone goes "But, but, but... he's slow!" If you watch the movies Robocop can be fast when he wants to. I mean he avoids speeding vehicles, grabs speeding motorcycles and dodges missiles while he's in a weakened state. He turns and shoots people in a split second. The "slow, robot" walk is merely Robo's default walk. Kind of like how we, as humans, are not constantly moving at our top speeds or fidgeting with items as fast as we can. We don't move at our top speeds unless we have to. If you look at the Terminator movies, the T-800 is moving just as slow as Robocop most of the time. And speaking of weakened state... the guy can literally fight off programing. When he tried to arrest Dick Jones his programing made him try to shut himself down, but he fought against it and stayed alive... and still fought back against the ED-209 while he was trying to fight a shut down! The only time Robo has shown a weakness has been during these "fight off shut down process" states of weakness and he still over comes those periods. As for the whole "needing to sleep" thing as a weakness. Well I can sum this up with two points. One is that sure Robocop may sleep, but he can literally snap out of the sleep and get to work within seconds. He has no groggy wake up time. If the T-800 came barging in his sleep room Robo would be up and ready to go at the instant. The second point is, this "weakness" sure doesn't seem to work against Kyle Reese, Sarah Conner, John Conner or the humans in the future, so why would it work against Robocop. T-800 isn't a psychic and thanks to Robocops human brain capable of making analytical thoughts and complex plans Robocop can just go somewhere the T-800 has no idea where he is and take a damn nap.

If this was a T-1000 it'd be no contest, but Robocop beats the T-800.

Deadpool makes great points. But Terminator also has more advanced weaponry. Will go with that one.

Robocop beats the T-800, though I also think the outcome depends on when they fight. If it's in the past, and the Terminator had to go back in time sans any futuristic weapons, then Robocop definitely beats it. If Robocop somehow gets sent to the future and faces a Terminator which didn't have to rely on regular guns, then maybe the Terminator would pull out a win.

Deadpool makes great points. But Terminator also has more advanced weaponry. Will go with that one. But it's the T-800 model, which has no in-built weapons. It would only have advanced weaponry if the battle tool place in the future, meaning Robocop would also have access to said weaponry, rendering it a moot point.

If we compare it to the show, they only have the weaponry from their era and then fight in a neutral area. Therefoe, Robocop would have his gun, but nothing more advanced than that.

This is still a very tough for me. I have the unfortunate task of calling the winner, so I won't do it yet, until we get this weapons discussion through. So, we have already mentioned tactics, style, intelligence, but here are the weapons. More info on these weapons are located in the links above:
Robocop:
Auto-9
RoboCop's primary weapon; it is (presumably) equipped a with a large barrel extension that fires in three-round bursts. The gun remains stored in a mechanical holster which deploys from Robocop's right leg. Though unnamed in the films, the script referenced the Auto-9 by name and it subsequently made it into promotional materials including action figures. Some Japanese manufacturers have made replicas. It was also modified to not fire unless Robocop is the one using it.
Cobra Assault Cannon
The Cobra Assault Cannon used in RoboCop could fire explosive rounds equivalent to that of a grenade launcher and is based on the sniper rifle. The version used in RoboCop 2 has a smaller build and fires smaller explosive rounds. This version uses the rifle.
Machine gun/rocket launcher
The machine gun made its appearance in RoboCop 3 and was never referenced by name other than being called a "weapon arm" in promotional action figures, and a "gun arm" by the production team. To use it, RoboCop removes his left hand and replaces it with the weapon assembly. It contains a 9mm machine gun, a flamethrower and a small missile launcher with a projectile potent enough to destroy an armored vehicle.
Mini-gun/cannon
The mini-gun/cannon can be sees in Frank Miller's RoboCop comic book and was originally meant to be RoboCop's arm cannon for the final production of RoboCop 3.
Flightpack/recharging station
A large jetpack that allows RoboCop to fly. It also doubles as a replenishing system for when RoboCop's battery system is low on power. As seen in RoboCop 3, the jetpack allows Murphy to overcome his relatively limited mobility for tactical advantage in combat. Referred to in the film as a "flightpack" and by production as a "jetpack".
===
Terminator:
The T-800 is generally issued with a Westinghouse M-27 Phased Plasma Battle Rifle in the 40 watt range or General Dynamics RBS-80 Phased Plasma Pulse Gun. However, it is programmed to be able to use all military documented weaponry. The 800 Series is, for example, extremely efficient in the use of the .45 longslide automatic, the model 1887 Winchester lever-action shotgun, the Franchi SPAS-12 shotgun, the Heckler & Koch MP-5s, the M-79 grenade launcher, and the M-134/GAU-2b minigun.
===
Both will fight in a neutral area. A random 'warehouse' area, including the outside, where robocop, runs into a robotic non-disguised T-800 terminator. Weapons for both are located here.
===
Tomorrow's matchup will be, Link Vs Kratos.

Okay, so since no responses. DW expert Computer Nerd Guy, Picks the winner: - Basically Robocop and Terminator gets pretty evenly matched. - Terminator can endure robocops weaponry and strength. Since it's an emotionless robot. - Robocop is lower tech, and isn't as powerful to endure terminator or his weapons, but is still strong enough to escape and hold back. - Robocop using his human brain reasoning, and skills as an experienced Police Officer, and uses terminators own weapons against him, and also can set up traps. - T-800 is defeated, by being trapped in warehouse machinery and blown up by rocket launcher, as robocop escapes injured, but alive. Victor: Robocop.Robocop wins due to having the best of both worlds. Human Reasoning and brains, and skills as a trained expert police officer.. with the strength, power and technology of being half robot. He is not as strong as T-800, but is much stronger, than humans, who are able to stop the T-800. His weapons are not as advanced as T-800, but is still enough to take T-800 out. Stay Tuned for next match up. Kratos vs Link. You can also suggest more matchups in thread if you would like.

Confound it! My predictions lose even in internet simulations. Thouh Robocop's special weapon being a machine warehouse is a little odd.
