Since I finished watching Smackdown before the main event has aired in the US, I marked this as a spoiler. But for anyone who has seen the main event, so what happened with the main event? Undertaker supposedly attacked both men, but there wasn't a decision ever made for the match. I am guessing this setting up for a triple threat match for the title at the Royal Rumble.

Why the hell would Undertaker want a Triple Threat Match when he could have...I don't know...just attacked Batista, thereby giving him the easiest title match to date?

Rey attacked him last week,so Taker is mad at him aswell as with Batista.

I don't understand any of this storyline. Why is Batista running in on Rey? Why not let UT kill Rey and then become the new #1 contender? Why is UT attacking both men when he has beaten Batista and could obviously destroy Rey?
I was at the recent SD taping and the match actually DID have an off camera finish with a ton of guys all running in (Jericho, Kane, Punk, Gallows) with Batista finally taking Kane and Rey's finishers and Rey won. Batista's after match selling of the beatdown was awesome, as the ref helped him up and he would do various Flair flops.

It makes him look like an even bigger bad ass. He takes out both with ease... through magic. In terms of booking, I guess they want to see what would be the bigger program at this point, Taker vs. Rey or Batista.

This goes back to the Christmas episode where both attacked Taker after his match with Rey was over. It was essentially revenge. And he had a solid match with Rey who held his own, so it wouldn't be that easy to stop Rey's momentum.

Did that smozz in the spoilers happen and got edited out? No. It ended with Taker's entrance playing, without anyone coming out. I wanted the insane ending the spoilers promised us.

What if someone else was the culprit?
Seriously. They don't have to go with the obvious.

The crazy ending with all the guys coming in and hiting finishers was better. Bats saying "f***" before turning around and getting chokeslammed was classic.

Is Undertaker that injured that all his matches have to be triple threat/fatal fourway nowadays?

My guess is that somehow it was Jericho. I think they want Jericho/Edge for the title at Wrestlemania and they're trying to rush him into the title picture.
Of course, this means that Jericho was able to drop Batista fairly quickly, which is hard to swallow. Maybe they'll blame the element of surprise and hope you buy that.
