Just remembered this absolute gem of a promo that aired during the Attitude era, featuring Gorilla Monsoon, Freddie Blassie, Ernie Ladd, Killer Kowalski and Pat Patterson. Unfortunately, it's a bit more melancholy now that four of these legends have passed on, but I still think it's one of the best little things they've ever put together...

Dave Sahadi, the production guy who put it together, said it made Vince cry.

I always thought this was a shot at WCW for using older guys.

I always thought this was a shot at WCW for using older guys. I really don't think it was intended to be taken that way. An advertisement for their product? Sure, but a shot at another organization, I really don't see it.

I remember this. This was during the time when Vince liked to pretend Hogan never existed and Andre made the company.

When I first seen this, I was thinking that it was supposed to be a promo for the legends of the Attitude Era...

this made me choke up, I always thought of it as them saying we had our glory days without the all the things they have in WWE today, but still loved it
