{disrespetcs eddie} rvd gets caught with pot in the middle,later decided to be the end,of his mega push.its not that he did pot in the middle,its that he got caught that makes it hall of shame worthy.

ECW as a whole, methinks. Just call it something else and I wont mind as much. Its like the American Godzilla from 1998. Some people considered it a decent giant monster movie, and it may have been (I dont think so, but, I'm a genre snob), but Godzilla it was NOT.

American Godzilla was my favorite movie as a kid. Its an awesome movie, you just have to ignore the japanese ones in order to not hate it so bad. It doesn't share continuity, so its not hard to do.
As for hall of shame...Kelly Kelly. For existing.

Its given us Rvd Angle, RVD Holly, RVD and Sabu vs Test and Knox, Knox vs Punk, Funk and Dreamer vs Edge and Foley Big Show vs Flair and Sabu vs Roadkill. Those have all entertained me very much along with the fact the ratings have helped carry sci fi. It takes while to see the best out of a brand, remember the flying elvis's in early TNA(yikes) And the thing about calling it something else it that we were warned before it even started that this incarnation of ecw would be different. I'm fine with that as long as we werent told it was oldschool ECW and got we the current programming is. |

Hall of Shame? How about El Gigante (aka Giant Gonzales), Bastian Booger, WWF Brawl For All, just to name a few. Speaking of Brawl for it All. Dr. Death Steve Williams is definitely shame worthy. They hype this guy up to be the next Shamrock or Goldberg and he LOSES the brawl. He was too old and too lacking in skills to do anything note-worthy. Horribly boring in the ring and on the mic. Yet, WWE pushed him like he was gonna be the next huge star. |
