Norman died and the killer got away! But, I saved my son, at least.

I don't know yet.
.............because I'm not actually playing the game. I'm just watching Benzaie's LP of it on ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.
Honestly, this game seems unbearably boring without his commentary. (But, I'm guessing it's gonna pick up soon.)

Just looking, yeah you will never truly understand it. In mine I got all 4 to the end. The Ethan saves Shaun. Jayden and Scott fight on the conveyor with Scott getting turned to kibble, and Madison tries to clear Ethan, but falls of her motorcycle and watches and Ethan is gunned down by the police.

I got the happy ending I think. Ethan saved his son, won the fight Scott and lived happily ever after with Madison. Norman left the F.B.I to do... whatever he left to do (wasn't really listening, it was late).
I can't believe how sucked into the game I got, great story and very compelling. Shall definatly be playing again to get other situations.

I did everything I was asked to do with Ethan, and saved my son. I accidentally let Lauren die in the car as Shelby.

My brother played it and he got like the worst ending possible. Shaun didn't survive, Ethan hung himself in prison, Norman died of a drug overdose, and Madison was freaking out in her apt while Shelby still walked the streets. Needless to say, he took the game back.

Just finished it. I got what must be the second best ending, I guess. I saved Shaun, Ethan lived and hooked up with Madison, Shelby got ground into paste with Lauren cursing his grave and Norman kicked his drug habit but kept seeing little VR tanks.

How different of an experience is this from Indigo Prophecy? I slugged though that monstrosity of a quicktime event and I don't know if I have it in me to play another choose your own adventure book in game form.

I slugged though that monstrosity of a quicktime event and I don't know if I have it in me to play another choose your own adventure book in game form. Controls are more inventive and mimic the characters actions better, the plot doesn't turn into a Matrix rip-off halfway through, no tacked on sex scene between two characters who just met...oh wait, that one is in there. I dunno what to say. You'll either love this game or you'll hate it. The main thing to play it for is the storyline that pulls your emotions. Give it a rent or download the demo and see what you think.

Well my first time around wasn't all that great. Neither Jayden nor Madison figured it out which left Ethan to go it alone. He rescued his son and had a chance to kill Shelby but opted to let him live. Upon exiting, Ethan was shot dead by the police. His son lived and visits his grave with his mom after. Madison is plagued by nightmares and continues to see numerous masked men (who don't really exist) in her apartment. It appears she is losing her mind. Shelby survived and escaped any kind of prosecution with Ethan having been blamed for all the murders. Jayden resigns from the FBI due to the heavy toll the case and his addicitons had on him.
My second time around went much better though. This game is awesome!!

Shelby being the killer makes no sense though.
You can read his thoughts and none of them show he is a killer. Why would he be thinking that way? They are his thoughts. Clearly he is trying to fool the gamer...but he doesn't know he is in a game...so....

My first ending went like this: - Ethan failed/chose not to participate in to many trails, so he couldn't figure out the adress. However, Madison figured out the address by knowing the password to the computer and called Ethan to tell him, so they both got there. - Jayden figured out all of the clues and got there. - Jayden was the one to show up in the warehouse to fight Shelby, he died in the fight with Shelby though. - Ethan rescued his son and Madison got away from the cops trying to stop her and was able to warn Ethan before he stepped out and got shot. Because of the evidence Madison had, Ethan was cleared of all charges and a man hunt was on for Shelby. - Ethan and Madison move in together in a nice apartment. - A funeral is held for Jayden, and the asshole cop puts his glasses on and sees a program of Jayden. - Shelby is gunned down in the street by the very women he was using to help his own agenda all along. Shelby being the killer makes no sense though. You can read his thoughts and none of them show he is a killer. Why would he be thinking that way? They are his thoughts. Clearly he is trying to fool the gamer...but he doesn't know he is in a game...so.... What thoughts does he have that imply he's not the killer? I'm sure most of his thoughts were like "I wonder what ______ knows?", "_________ knows something and I'm going to find out what" and things like that. On top of that, he's trying to pull off a big time act here and I could by him trying to have thoughts that go along with that to get into his "role".

On top of that, he's trying to pull off a big time act here and I could by him trying to have thoughts that go along with that to get into his "role". Yeah but even in his thoughts, he doesn't know anything. He is just a clueless as the gamer is. He literally, doesn't know anything. He speaks to himself as if he is really, genuinely, trying to solve the case. There is no need for him to even investigate the case in the first place. I don't think he is trying to "fool" anyone during gameplay as him. He is trying to solve the case. The only person he would be fooling is the gamer, which would imply that he knows he is in a video game. If I were a killer, I would not sit completely alone thinking..."I have to find this killer" or "I havent gotten any sleep since those kids have been getting kidnapped by some killer out there."
