Was actually pretty good. And in a rare case for games of it's ilk, it's still satisfying to play after about five or six years away from it. The only other of the old NFS series I didn't completely shelf after the newer version came out was NFS: Hot Pursuit 2. Now if only I could hunt down another copy of "Most Wanted" on the cheap.

Underground 2 was awesome. One of the best racing games I've ever played (second only to Top Gear). I do, however, remember the frustration. Every time you get to a corner, a random car appears and crashes you. It used to drive me insane. The game makes up for it with a great soundtrack, cool graphics, excelent controls and amazing ways to customize your vehicle.

Lol yeah, the dreaded "YELLOW VAN OF DOOM" which would appear at random to ruin your life.
Hated it, especially in drag races when it was sooo cheap, you were too busy watching the gauges to pay super close attention to the damn road.

I strangely preferred the original Underground
and then came "Most Wanted", I need to find another copy of it, maybe for Xbox 360 since it's easy to get 1000 GS

It happens, I preferred Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 to the first "Underground", but something about 2 just kinda...eventually dragged me into it's zeitgeist. It was annoying to have to find all of the different shops, but also kinda fun I guess.

NFS Underground 2 was great, but a little too long. I played through the story for a while, but it still seems to go on and on and on even after you have a 10 star car with full upgrades. It was a little tiring to spend hours driving around a map to get to a last set of races.
