For those not aware, or simply just forgot, today marks 13 years since the great Notorious BIG a.k.a Biggie Smalls died. So for all of you rap/hip hop realists, let's celebrate his life by talking about your favorite Biggie songs, his impact in rap, or just post videos of your favorite songs by him.
I'll start off with:
(Language warning, obviously)

Wow. It's been 13 years? It really doesn't feel that long ago.

I'll be honest. Although as was aware of their music. I had no idea who Tupac and Biggie were until after they died.
I remember a friend came up to me in tears and said "Tupacs's Dead" He even had a "celebration of life" at his house with fireworks and everything. I never had the heart to ask him who he was talking about. It wasn't until the party where he was playing Tupac music that I was like "O.K I've heard this guy"
I remember he was convinced Biggie was behind it. That was pretty much the same night I learned who Biggie was too.
So I'm sure like a lot of people. Tupac and Biggie will be forever linked in my mind. But not for the same reasons most people link them.
I can't believe that was 13 years ago.

I loved the chemistry between him and Meth in this song. Word is Biggie said Meth out-did him in this song, and Meth thinks the opposite. They had a lot of respect for each other, it's too bad the rest of the Wu didn't think the same.

Pac and Biggie, no rapper will ever come anywhere close to the talent that those two guys had. Shame they were taken so young, they would still be making amazing stuff today, RIP.

My 2nd favorite MC of all time.
"I heard Tech got murdered in a town I never heard of by some bitch named Alberta over nickel-plated burnas."
'Everyday Struggle' is one of my favorite Biggie joints.
