Their corporate staff made a rap/rock music video! If I ever become a CEO of my own company I am totally going to be this cool.
LANGUAGE WARNING
for those that don't know this is the company that made the huge MMO game Eve Online.
I heard they bought out that White Wolf company which had that really successful card game World Of Darkness.(yes the same company WWF/E got prermission from to use the name Gangrel which was the name of a clan or something like that on their game.) CCP is working on an MMO game for it.

Yep. Gangrels are the clan who can summon animals, and are one of the classes that appear in both Vampire: The Masquerade games. I'm surprised the name was copyrighted as I believed it was part of the vampire folklore*, and the the WWF went as far as to buy the rights to an RPG clan name for one of their characters. * Then again, a lot of Vampire folklore was created by White Wolf.

Actually i don't think WWE owns it. If you look back on copyrights before WWF video games started that featured Gangrel(most noteably WWF Smackdown 2 KNow Your Role) they put that White Wolf actually owns the name Gangrel so I'm guessing they were just borrowing it.

Yeah, there was some law related stuff over it past that, not sure what exactly though. I'm thinking it tied in with Gangrel's return with Big Vis to help JBL against Taker, and either the original license had expired or they argued WWE was damaging the name or something.

I'm pretty sure that Vampire and the other games White Wolf made were "table top" RPG's and not collector card games.
