The hair dressers here won't try it because I'm too dark. I have dark brown hair, and had blonde highlights before, what I'm wondering is - how could she put blonde highlights into it and she can't do the full head? I'm looking to go Ken Anderson's color btw.
I looked up youtube videos and apparently, they all say the same thing. So it looks like I'm going to have to try it on my own. Any tips on going bright blonde from dark brown?

It would be different, but my brother went from brown to blonde and he was fine.

Did anybody ever try Jerome Russell's bleaching kit? I might buy that one. It's recommended apparently.

Yeh all the hairdressers said the same thing to me. I have medium-dark brown hair naturally and wanted to go blonde. So I bought a home bleaching kit.
In the end, I dyed it brown again, because the bleach had made my hair so unhealthy it was horrible. Plus you have to keep re-coloring your roots every few weeks.

If you have dark hair colouring your hair that blonde is awful for your hair. I considered doing it when I was 15 when my hairdresser told me my hair was far too dark. Friend of mine did it in the end and ended up having to chop her long hair into a bob so it just ruined her hair.

Unhealthy in what way? Will it fall out? Or will the color turn gross? I have no problem bleaching it every few weeks. Can anybody here give me any tips on doing it? I'm pretty scared of burning my scalp or it getting into my eyes. I haven't tried it before or anything. How long does it take for it to turn natural again?

I did it a few times when I was in my mid-teens..back when Eminem was all the craze.
I have really dark brown hair and it worked out okay for me.

It obviously can be done, some way without destroying your hair. Just look at Ric Flair. From this To This for the better part of 30 years. You can tell just by looking at Flairs eyebrows that he has thick dark hair.

Chemically treated hair breaks super easy and it can be very dry. Sorry, I don't have any bleaching tips for you. My first sentence was based off having a relaxer for 10 years and red hair for a year.

I have almost black hair and I used to go blonde every summer. I just combed peroxide through my hair and went for a walk in the sun. My hair was really soft after doing so.
I should point out I had a buzz cut every time I did this.

Just be sure to treat it... and you'll be ok.
Just know that it isn't going to turn straight blond in one sitting... you may need at least 2 dyes before you get the color that you want. Most likely, it'll be an orange hue after the first time.

So, I mix the peroxide with the bleach until it's creamy, and then I stick my comb in it and brush it through my hair and pretty much leave it until it turns white? I have a buzzcut, similar to Randy Orton's, so it has a good chance of getting on my scalp, I'm sure. Will I need two bleaching kits?

Yeah, if your hair is that short it's going to get on your scalp. It's hard to stop it from getting on the scalp if you have long hair (although I suppose you could just ignore the roots and just frost the tips), but doing it with a buzz cut and it's going to get in.
I have dark brown hair (almost black at this point) and tried to bleach it for a semester. It burned when I did and it did dry out my hair a lot in the onset. It turned my hair an amber color. Getting it blonde would have required a second bleaching and I really didn't want to get the burn. .

My hair is about the same as yours, and while mine wasn't really orange, it certainly wasn't as blonde as it should have been, at least not after a couple of washes.
