Graduated high school in 2003, SAT score was 1300.
If memory serves, I got 720 verbal, 580 math.
Did REALLY well on the SAT II's I took.

1460 on the old system (1998, I think?). 730 on each part.

Honestly, I can't even remember. I'm sure I have them on file but at my parents' house. I do remember that I got a 26 or a 27 on my ACT because I know I got one score but they messed up on one of the questions, making two of the answers correct instead of just one, and that was enough to bump it up to the next score.

Never took the SAT or ACT. After failing the FCAT(Florida's high school passing test) 8 times, I didn't want to take anymore standardized tests.

As a Canadian, could someone please explain the importance of the SATs? The SAT is a standardized test regarding college admission. Basically you take it and/or the ACT and then the colleges take the scores into consideration and decide whether or not you'll be accepted. But it seems like more and more the SAT is losing focus to the ACT as the SAT only really matters if you're going to a major college. I didn't have to take the SAT but I did anyway to see what kind of score I'd get and hope it'd look good on a transcript or resume or something. I only went to a community college but my score on the ACT determined whether or not I'd get a free scholarship (which I did, but barely).

1280, I think. And I went to a state school, thereby completely invalidating any reason for taking the test. Funny you and I have the same story, 1280 on the SAT, and I too went to a state university, but the SAT score got me a scholarship. My 1200 got me accepted to a state school, with a scholarship... all I needed on the GPA side was a 1.5 or so. I was like... so all this time, I didn't even HAVE to go to my classes and I still would have gotten a scholarship to college? What a waste of 4 years.

1310 for me back in like 2000. Good enough to get me accepted to every college I applied to (Rutgers, Drexel, Rowan, College of New Jersey), and a partial scholarship to one of them.
