Since Kurt Angle jumped ship to TNA, anybody else who has come into WWE hasn't been able to use their real name or original gimmick. CM Punk was the last one to come into the company and be able to use the name in which he was famous on the indy scene. One thing I liked about the attitude era was, you could have guys like Tazz, or Raven or Guerrero jump over, and they would still have the same names they had as the previous show. I know something that it isn't possible, if the name is trademarked by a different organization, but WWE won't push any talent on TV without owning the superstars trademark. What is wrong with just calling them Bryan Danielson or Matt Sydel ? I know delirious is yet to consider WWE because he has put so much effort into the gimmick his owns, and WWE would make him either give up the rights to his trademark or use a new persona.

probably one factor why shark boy wouldn't go eitherit is sad..but its like how..desipte you'd KNOW who it was WWE would feel the need to change their name, a few that reall got me was flash Funk and Max Moon..one even using the second name funk in the gimmick was stupid..what with thr Funks and all and as for Max Moon..i mean yeah cos Konnan couldn't draw that hispanic market to the WWE just by being himself
mind you WWE seemed to be a tag team graveyard, an established team comes in..and..gets spilt up (Powers of Pain for example)
its as if WWE though it was above everyone else
