I've decided to start something new on here. It's called "Rate the Buildup." If this first one is a big hit amongst you, my fellow wrestling fans, then I'll continue it for both WWE and TNA PPVs. If this flops, then it shall never see the light of day again.
I'm asking you to rate the buildup on a scale of ten. I won't include negative scores as choices since I know some trolls would just click on them to be jackasses.
However, I will include an option of "COUNTERPRODUCTIVE," which would be pretty much the same as negative.
Please explain your vote and how you think you could have made the buildup better (provided you voted less than a 10.)

About even. All the matches look decent, but they haven't really given me enough variety in the choices to care about what I'm voting for. The only match I'm really interested in seeing is the IC title match.

I'd rate the buildup around 4.5, not great but it's decent enough to spare interest in the show.

They've built the main event nicely. Everything else, is so thrown together and non-hyped. DX/ELO: DX looks super human once again. IC Title Match: Jeff Hardy has barely been seen in recent weeks. Umaga vs : Sandman mentioned it once... Tag Titles: Spirit Squad randomly start feuding with Flair after losing two straight to Cryme Tyme? What?? Women's Title: Tournament seemed thrown together ...and resulted in the match we all knew it would. Four Team Tag: Pointless match, but at least it gets them on PPV. Kinda similar to the pointless X-Division matches TNA often throws together. So... 4?

DX-Edge/Orton: At least Orton and HHH have each gotten the upper hand a little. IC Title Match:Hardy has looked vulnerable and all three challengers have looked viable. Umaga vs : Not built up well but will be entertaining especially if Benoit or Sandman wins. Tag Titles: Spirit Squad and Flair/old guys have been building up for weeks and the end result will at least be fun to watch. Women's Title: Tournament made it seem important. This match was predictible but will be good. Four Team Tag: Not built up but will result in a clearer defined RAW tag division/Cryme Tyme get s a push. I gave the build-up an 8/10 and like a "Rate the Build-Up" thread.

I thought interactive pay-per-view shouldn't have good hype

The main event is pushed VERY hard on all shows and DX vs Edge/Orton is a laughing stock match because HHH has already shown he can kick both of their asses by himself.

Could it be made anymore obvious that Cena will be defending at Cyber Sunday. It does make sense since its a Raw ppv, but seriously, its just another can Cena overcome the odds soryline.

I thought interactive pay-per-view shouldn't have good hype Well they ought, considering they would like to get people to buy the event, so hype is necessary I think. I gave it a 3, very thrown together and no matches really stick out for me. If the chance that a major title would change hands, I'd consider ordering it, but I doubt it'll happen. I'll wait for the major PPV, Survivor Series which is usually good as this PPV sounds like it'll suck.

Counterproductive, at least compared to other WWE PPVs. For one thing, I don't think anyone really cares that there are multiple options, because they either come down to an obvious choice or any one of three choices that all suck anyway. Having said that, the outcomes are either too obvious or meaningless. Or both.

4/10.
-The Edge/Orton - DX fued has been handled so horribly it isnt even worth having anymore.
- The tag team title match is what it is, a fun match with a legend and has been pushed fine.
- The IC title match has been pretty weak, Hardy has had little to no interaction with the contenders recently.
- The 4 way tag dosent even matter
- The womens title IMO was not booked right, niether Lita or Mickie need a push for now and a tournament victory could have established a new diva.
- The main event has been booked great even though everyone knows Cena wont win because marks won vote for him. The outcome of the match will come with the votes, whoever defends the tite wins the belt. Its WAAAAAY to obvious.

Think harder. Cena said he could win two belts and the marks dont want the possiblity that he could lose. I have no idea why everyone here keeps saying Cena will be defending when its so unlikely its not even funny.

Geez, Orton/Edge aren't even made to look like a major threat to DX, they'll get squashed and the special ref (most likely Bischoff) will get beaten somehow and DX 06 triumphs yet again for the millionth time.

who the hell voted ***** ??
I voted for ** 1/4 cause the IC title match had a good build-up (like a qualifier), and it´s gonna be interesting to see Flair and ? go for the TT titles (nostalgia), plus the Champion of Champions match should be interesting
but the DX vs. Edge/Orton match had one of the worst buildups of a (semi-)main event program I can remember...and the TT 4 corners elimination match don´t mean nothing (we all know CT will win)

1.5 for me. I live in Cinci and I still don't want to waste money on it. The only thing that even seems the slightest bit interesting to me is Lita/Mickie. The rest just seems kinda blah to me

7 or ***1/2. They've been doing a really good job of building the main event and the gimmick of the interactive PPV makes Cyber Sunday stand out from the rest of the single-brand PPV's. Honestly, they should just make it joint-brand and drop a SmackDown PPV so that RAW and SD are "even."
The only real bad part is that the DX/Rated RKO buildup is messed up royally. DX have won every single match and all three matches have been some variation of Triple H vs. Randy Orton. Unless Edge and Orton can manage to actually beat DX at the PPV, I don't see the point of this feud at all besides making two former world champions look like complete jokes. I can understand Cade & Murdoch being one-sided towards DX because they got NO heat from that feud and it wouldn't be believable that two jobbers who hang out on Heat all the time would beat Trips and HBK. But Edge and Orton have proven themselves worthy of the main event (well... at least Edge has anyway), with Edge being a 2-time WWE Champion and Orton the youngest WWE or World Champion in the history of the WWE. It'd be perfectly believable for Orton to win a match against his former mentor, even if it's by cheating.

COUNTERPRODUCTIVE
Absolutely NOTHING interests me on this show. NOTHING. Unless the IC title match can save the show, or MAYBE the main event and DX/ELO surprise us, it's going to be a long night and we may have a Worst PPV of the Year Candidate on our hands folks.

2 (*) When I look at the matches. I don't have that feeling of "Oh, this could go either way." I just have this sinking feeling that WWE will fail to surprise us on Sunday. Every match seems pretty predictable. Oh well, can't complain too much. I'm watching it for free at Buffalo Wild Wings!
