I think it makes it much sadder for the Rock that he was champion only 17 days longer than JBL and that he had 6 more reigns than JBL did. Not a very good average.

Half thouse reigns was passing the title, back and forth with Foley. Rock never got a long run as champion, most of his runs were 2 months tops.

I am not a full blown John Cena hater, but this certainly justifies that fact that he needs to take a break from being champion. I deleted the wrestlers he actually deserves to have held the belt longer than. I am also noting the wrestlers that have been in the company longer than Cena. Cena starting in the summer of 2002, so he has been in the WWE for a little over 7 1/2 years. 5. John Cena 6 863 6. Bret Hart 5 654(1984-1997, 13 years) 7. Triple H 8 539(1995-present, 15 years) 8. Steve Austin 6 529(1995-2004, 9 years) 9. Randy Savage 2 520(1985-1994,9 years) 10. Shawn Michaels 3 396(1989-1998,2002-present, 17 years active) 12. Randy Orton 5 356(2002-present, but started earlier in the year) 13. Brock Lesnar 3 355 14. The Rock 7 297(1996-2004, basically the same amount of time) 14. Kurt Angle 4 297 16. Billy Graham 1 296 18. Yokozuna 2 280 20. The Undertaker 4 238(1990-present, 19 1/2 years) 21. Edge 4 139(1998-present, 12 years) 22. Eddie Guerrero 1 133 23. Ric Flair 2 118(in the company about the same amount of time total, however in Flair's second stint he was over 50 years old the entire time, so Cena may win this one.)
