Right now: Ken Kennedy, Bobby Lashley, Chris Masters, Ken Doane, and Rene Dupree are the future imo.

Here's my list of nominations Ken Kennedy, Trevor Murdoch(if they can ever get over his appearance thing, and repackage him badass Hansen style), Daivari, Kevin Thorn(I see him as 'the next Undertaker' so to say.), Joey Mercury(if he gets a new gimmick), Deuce Shade(Snuka's adopted son), Punk(though I'm iffy if he'll last), and HOW IS MATT STRIKER NOT ON THIS LIST?! After looking it over I was so mad I forgot to include Matt Striker and Umaga.

I'm taking it that Charlie Haas has been written off by now?
Anyway, I think Carlito, Helms are going places, as well as Punk and unfortunately Orton and Cena will be steering the company for some time yet.

I've said it before: Punk. Out of all the young guns WWE has brought up over the last few years, NONE have been as refined before even stepping into a WWE ring as Punk.

At 30 years old, he won't last long. But hey, he's got the personality the WWE wants. He's bound to be the future. At least one of them.

i guess it depends if you mean constantly over at a certain level for a decade, or burning very brightly but only for a short time.
i think carlito and punk can both get jericho-level, but kennedy is more lieklly to end up a big time champ, but only for a little while.
id go carlito because he just reminds me of flair, and look how long he's been going

If WWE wants to make with their 3 brand system for years to come, I can see Kennedy, Carlito, and Punk being the three "main attractions" for each show. They each have carved out a SOLID fan base on each of their shows, and the office more or less has shown that while not automatically making them main event, they do trust them enough to give them the time to grow as workers, and work on their game, while still putting SOME of the spotlight on them.
Carlito has come a long way in my opinion. When he first started, I really didn't care either way for him. Now I enjoy him whenever he's on screen. He just needs to adapt to being a face more. But he's not main event right now, so that's fine. He still has time to grow as a worker. He definitely has that IT factor though. Almost like the Rock in that when he's on screen, he owns it.
Kennedy, now ever since I've seen that guy I've been impressed. Any ring shortcomings are overcome by the fact that the man has charisma for me, you, shelton, and Chloe the dog. I like how they're not rushing him either, because it gives him time to perfect his art. Sort of like the Rock. He was in the midcard for a good while before he finally moved up, and the midcard time did him good.
CM Punk...by July of next year we'll know how much faith the office has in him. I don't see him staying on ECW long, unless they put him into the title picture, and move Big Show out. The guy has the almost the total package, he just is liking ever so slightly in the size area, but the guy is so fluid in the ring and on the stick that you can look over it. The ECW PPV should give a good indication of what they plan on doing with Punk.
All in all, those three I think have the brightest futures.

. The only other person on that list I know can do that is Punk but, the E has yet to show whether or not they like him. I was thinking aboot this the other day. If WWE don't like Punk then why would they give him a named entrance music?? They could have easily given him "Geniric Rock Track 9" but instead they have given him Killswitch Engage. Surely that means something??

To be fair they already owned the rights to that song (Randy Orton and Judgement Day) and they had to give it to someone

Lashley or Kennedy - I'd like it to be Punk or Carlito, but I just can't see either of them being major superstars in WWE.
Lashley's a talented hoss, but Kennedy has 27,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,001 times his charisma, so I vote Mr Kennedy...
...KENNEDY.

I'll just say this easily; out of that list, I wish it was everyone but the following: Carlito, Ken Kennedy, Orton, Shad, All Spirit Squad members who aren't Jeter, Miz, Snitsky.
But, if I had to pick two (narrowing it down to one is difficult), I'd have to go with: Bobby Lashley and CM Punk.

I don't agree with the people who think Kennedy will be the future cuz he has the size and that Punk may have a hard time cuz of his size. According to WWE.com Kennedy is 6'2 and 243 and Punk is 6'1 and 222. It's not that big of a difference. IMO Both guys are the future, along with Carlito and Kenny if he quits being an ass backstage

I voted for CM Punk. But I also think Mr. Kennedy is someone who could be the future. Both have everything it takes in my opinion.

carlito and nitro are the future of the main event on raw, but other than that i can see finlay carrying the company. i know hes a tad old, but anyone who's seen him in his world of sport days knows that this bloke can wrestle half-hour matches with ease (and even though that was ages ago, he doesnt look like hes gained an ounce since). he has the same appeal as austin did: he doesnt have any alleigances, he just likes beating people up.austin was never in any factions for more than five minutes, because he likes to fight so much, and he ends up being neither good nor bad, leaving the fans (once they've sussed out finlays tweener turn) to make their minds up.
but, yeah, nitro and carlito.

I like a lot of these guys, but C.M. Punk has the potential to be the greatest.
I mean, all sorts of things could cut him off at the knees, but he's got pretty much everything necessary to be a great public champion. I think the lack of being 6'4 with a ripped physique is a GOOD thing, because people can connect to him. He looks like a somewhat regular guy who made it in the business through hard work, not because he was picked up at the gym.
