Mickie and Melina dropping each other into the splits position yet still punching away at each other.
And Dean Malenko murdering Scotty 2 Hotty with a top-rope DDT.

Backlash 2000 was voted PPV of the year in PowerSlam's end of year awards. One of my all time favourite PPV and it was shown for free on channel 4. Those were the days! Great matches inlcuding:
Malenko vs Scotty 2 Hotty Eddie Guerrero vs Essa Rios Rock vs HHH

I thought Edge/Benoit will always be an underrated Last Man Standing match from the 2005 iteration, as well as Benjamin/Jericho. Also, who can forget Edge/HHH/Cena from 06, especially when HHH destroys everyone after the bell to LOUD cheers! And who can forget the fine WWE got for breaking several rules set in place by the Kentucky State Athletic Commission? THAT'S BULLS***, 'cuse my language! Good ol' JR after HBK gets pinned by Vince in the "Handicap" match in '06.

I remember it the hype because of "Hogan's Last Match," and I thought GEE I GET TO SEE HOGAN'S LAST MATCH LIVE, OH BOY! Luckily I also went to SummerSlam 2006 as well where Hogan's Last WWE match actually took place.

Can't believe no one has said this yet:
The ending was a little weird, though, a Gore during a replay.

And who can forget the fine WWE got for breaking several rules set in place by the Kentucky State Athletic Commission? What rules did they break? No fighting outside of the guardrails No bleeding. If accidental blood they are legally obligated to go right to the finish of the match.

This and pretty much Backlash 2009 in general. It's sad to know I have the DVD of the FINAL Backlash. At least it went out with a bang. I was there. I attended the last Blacklash ever.

I own the DVD of Backlash 2004 and I will say that it was a great event. My favorite matches on that card were Foley/Orton and Triple H/Shawn Michaels/Chris Benoit. I have to give Orton credit for taking those major bumps, like falling on the thumbtacks, as well as being thrown from the stage. Funny thing, I remember a long time ago bringing the DVD to a family function so that I can lend it to my cousin and he wanted to watch one match. Basically, me and my younger cousin, as well as other younger cousins and friends of one of them were watching Foley vs Orton. My other cousin's friends cringed at the thumbtack sequence.
As for other ones, I could never forget the ending to Backlash 1999 (It may have been the final IYH PPV, but it still counts). The part when Stephanie was in the limo and Undertaker was all "Where to, Stephane?" and she screamed "DAAAAAADDDD!!!!!!!". Also, Austin vs Rock at that PPV was much better than their match at Wrestlemania the month before.

Soo many moments!
-Boiler Room Brawl, 1999 -"Where to, Stephanie!?", 1999 -Channel 4's god-awful censorship and butchering of the event after the 'Mae Young incident', 2000 -Austin returns, 2000 -Shane O'Mac's leap of faith, 2001 -Hogan winning the title, 2002 -Foley/Orton, 2004 -'God', 2006 -Triple threat WWE title match, 2006 -Last Man Standing, 2007 -Last Man Standing, 2009
