As much as I think Daniel Bryan is obviously going to be the biggest success from Season 1 of NXT, who do you think will be the best pairing?
I'm going with Jericho and Barrett, as somehow I think Barrett will mold well with Jericho's character. Jericho is a Beatles mark, and since Barrett's favourite football team plays in the city of Liverpool (it's Everton), they'll find something to bond over. And be amazing heels doing so.

Seeing MVP paired up with some Cowboy reminds me of that rumored story going around about how he and Trevor Murdoch were going to be a tag team before the latter got released.
I expect HIGHlarious culture clash stuff from them.

Carlito and Tarver, because it gives Carlito something to do

Seeing as it's mostly kayfabe... Punk/Young should give us some interesting clashes, I think. More Straight Edge from Punk is always good for the soul.

The Miz and Bryan Danielson.
Honestly, it sounds so bad that it's somehow gonna wrap around into being AWESOME.

I'm going with Hardy and Gabriel. A guy with a South African accent and a guy with a North Carolina accent. They won't be able to understand each other and we won't be able to understand either of them. Let hilarity ensue.
As a side note, can I provide a personal opinion to Justin Gabriel, TNA's Chris Sabin, and ROH Champion Tyler Black? Gentlemen, please, if your trunks are cut so low that you need to wax your pubes to match your chest and belly, they are cut too low. The target demos don't want (18-35 men) or need (kids 8-17) to see the head of your femur or the pelvic socket. Please stop shopping in the women's lingerie section. Thank you.

Hey don't discount appealing to the female demographic. They propelled Jeff Hardy up the LADDDDURRR to become world champion, after all. And if you took away Matt's female hordes, he'd have about 6 fans left.

The Miz and Danielson. It helps that it's the only duo I care about (and that's mainly because of Miz), but also there's the fact that everything Danielson doesn't have, Miz does.

Like most people, I see some real irony in Danielson being paired with someone that wasn't even in the business when he was already having great matches. Mic skills aside, if they actually portray him as being mentored by Miz in a wrestling sense, I may need to change my shorts.

Miz and Daniels, because they can help each other. Miz is one of the best at what he does on the mic in WWE but not all that great in the ring, and Daniels is one of the best at what he does in the ring, but his mic work for WWE will need some work. And kayfable wise, it should be AWESOME.
Oh, and I love some people in the IWC bitching like its 2006 and Miz is still that dummy Diva Search host, when in reality Miz is up there as one of the most polished mic workers (heel or face) in WWE. That's what makes this duo even more hilarious in hindsight.

The Miz and Daniels sounds like a odd pair in a sitcom. I'm all for it.

Unfortunately, I don't know if Danielson will ever "get it" from Miz, but I think Miz could be a great manager/promoter for him.

Wade and Jericho, easily if Wade is the same as he was in FCW it'll be a match made in heaven.

Carlito & Michael Tarver, only because I'm half expecting Swaggah to show up in the first week, take out Carlito, and replace him.

Miz and AmDrag.
Worst is Matt and Gabriel. What can Matt teach? How to clear an all you can eat buffet, post emo poems on the internet and how to bail your brother out of jail again?

Jericho/Barrett, because I want to see Jericho manage somebody I have no idea about.

Sheffield/Porter should be fun, but this is out of gimmick I think, so it'll be interesting regardless.

I know who it isn't. The cowboy guy who says "YUP YUP YUP!", Skip Sheffield. He was l-a-m-e LAME in the dark match before Raw in Knoxville on 1/18.
Cool finisher though.
