It looked cool, but the brick wall was really one of the last bits of the original ECW left. This is just another attempt to make it more WWE-like.

OK, yeah I forgot the stupid oval set on SD but that was like an infinity ago. I mean, c'mon, the fist wall has been around forever. As far as the raw set...They made the screen into a trapezoid and added some trippy smaller screens on the side, sure, but it's still the same damn layout, and essentially the same thing it's been since they added the actual stage way back when. I think both RAW and SD need a total overhaul; not just the look, but the layout of the arena. No more of this "Giant huging stage that blocks off a fifth of the building" crap! The raw screen is parallelogram shaped, not trapezoidal. A trapezoid has 5 sides. Though you're right, they don't really need the huging huge entryway. Actually a pentagon had 5 sides. A trapazoid is a quadrilateral(4 sides), and two of the 4 sides are parallel. Don't you just love Geometry?

Trapezoid, Parallelogram, Rhombus, Dodecahedron*...whatever it is called. It's still big and four sided. They just shifted two angles.
*Yes, I know that's more than four sides. It was a shape I could think of.

The new ECW set reminds me of that one from the early nineties (and I think late eighties) set. It had like the rainbow lights. Not sure if anyone remembers it. I prefer the bricks myself though.
Also did anyone else notice the white ropes? I thought that was pretty cool.

I don't like it.
It looks too fancy for ECW.

Yep, WWE's beginning the total takeover. 9_9 Considering they already own it, could it be considered a take over?

Also did anyone else notice the white ropes? I thought that was pretty cool. The neon WWF entranceway ruled, I was really hoping they'd bring that back for the new Saturday Night's Main Event shows this year.
