Maybe it's just me but while I love Edge and Jericho I do not want to see Jericho in the main event after months of losses. The only person I can think of he's beaten cleanly since TLC is Matt Hardy. I think that's pretty weak, a Wrestlemania main event where we can be pretty much sure of who the winner is going to be.

It's still less predictable than anything involving Cena/Triple H/Orton/Batista/Undertaker. Plus it will be a new feud and the two should pull off a great match with each other.

I didn't have any interest in this match whatsoever even before it had the World title element to it.

I seriously doubt it will be the main event anyway to be honest, only once in the last four years has the Royal Rumble winner actually main evented (Orton last year).
I think its going to be a great match and can't wait to see it.

I'm not saying it won't be a brilliant match if it happens because it probably will be just that so far Jericho has sucked and that him as a threat would be very hard to believe.

I'm not sure why Jericho's win/loss record should matter here. Has he not already established himself as a threat after being a multiple time champion? I could see how fans wouldn't want someone like Kofi or MVP in a high profile match because they barely win any matches, but Jericho is a chicken shit heel, as long as he gets heat from the fans and has chemistry with Edge, they should pull the trigger on the feud.

Didn't Jericho just pin the Undertaker relatively cleanly?
Really, Edge is the Rumble winner, and so it's a near certainty that he'd be going over whoever he's facing. Him and Jericho will be a good match.

Now people don't like the thought of Edge/Jericho?
Damn! What is going on here? I am dying to see that match.

If they brought back Edge as a white meat 'changed man' babyface then I wouldn't really have any interest, since it would be far too predictable.
But Edge has returned as the same guy, with the same Edge to his character, and claiming that he has no allegiances and hates everyone. If it's a feud about who manages to almost 'out-heel' the other, only with Edge getting cheered because of it, then it will be fine. Plus to get Mania-level heat I imagine they'd let Jericho do some pretty neat stuff in order to get it, and Jericho would work well with whatever he is given.

I'd be more up for it if it wasn't a title feud. I have no interest in seeing Edge win his zillionth World Title, and certainly not at Jericho's expense.

I think this is the type of feud that doesn't really need to be built around a title. In fact, I think it would benefit a lot more from being built around personal issues.
If Jericho vs. HBK feud had been about nothing but the WHC and mutual dislike, it wouldn't have been very exciting.

I think the feud is fine, but I don't think it's really a worthy Mania main event, no. The Rumble should never have been won by Edge in my opinion.

They almost have to follow through with it after the build up they've given it. It would be absolutely stupid for them not too. Though saying that, this isn't the first time that they killed a potential feud started by an injury. For example, the whole Kennedy/Edge feud that never was because they decided it would be better to move Kennedy to RAW instead and thus threw away a feud that literally required no build up to pull off.

Not that Edge/Jericho will be a bad match or anything, but I had been holding out for Taker/Jericho.

Jericho has been awesome at intentionally re-establishing himself as a top heel by playing himself off of the guest hosts such as Shaquelle O'Neil, keeping the Edge feud on ice with Jerishow, with his lemon/lion face suits and increased usage of SAT level insults. I am digging him being the black hole of our existence. It's not 6-PAC heat, it is REAL and earned heat. Everyone gunning for Jericho opens up a LOT of doors for PPV's. My only complaint is that they didn't put the belt on him sooner! My only real complaint is about EDGE and all his stuttering...(T-t-t-today Adam!).

I'd like it if they add CM Punk to the mix. One of the two big matches is usually a triple threat anyway.

I'm excited about the possibility. Two Canadians headlining WrestleMania for the first time. Edge trying to get double digits. Jericho trying to prove to the sycophantic planarians that he is the best in the world at what he does. Two guys who can cut promos, guys who sound genuine. The only thing I fear is that the powers that be make it into a triple threat match with Big Show to prolong the feud, especially with the rumors that he's moving to Smackdown in the draft. Please no.

Would be good if Jericho hasn't been pinned cleanly so much the past year. I don't take him as a serious threat to anyone at this point.

Jericho vs Edge sounds good, but I'm pulling for CM Punk to win the Chamber and face Edge at Wrestlemania.
