I was typing out that first one, but changed my mind. -Since that was the Rumble where Vince and Stone Cold wrestled all over the damn building/hid from everybody else until the end, no way Dan would have won in 1999. Besides, I'm sure once the first couple of unscheduled guys went over and out, the rest of the guys would have pulled a Muhammad Hassan and banded together to eliminate Dan; with a few good potatoes for good measure. I think Severn knew there was no chance in hell of him eliminating everybody. But if his goal was to screw with Vince and/or the booking plans, all he had to do was eliminate the planned winner and/or a couple of guys in major storylines. The planned winner was Vince McMahon. Even eliminating guys in major storylines, I think they would have been okay and Severn would be ganged up on immediately.
