I think Cena vs Batista has potential on it's own, definitely. But does anybody find it mind-blowing that they don't bring up once about how Cena stuck his nose into business that didn't involve him? Personally, I think he got what he deserved. It would be different if it was the Hart Dynasty, since they're family, but this guy barely even knows Bret Hart personally. I mean, they're trying to make it out that they're all pals, but I bet Bret only knows him personally from this storyline.
If I was Batista, I'd kick the guys ass too. Who is he to stick his nose in his business and try to play superhero? I hope Batista beats him again. Definitely, thoughts?

I see where your coming from. IMO, Cena and Batista really has no reason to be in this feud.
Since HBK and Bret made up, It should have been HHH jump Bret and Shawn make the save. Leading up to WM it could be HBK/Bret vs HHH/Vince in a can Bret fully Trust Shawn or are they screwing Bret again?

Well, Batista was ordered to attack Bret by Vince and unless he wants to suffer the same fate as Bret, he is going to comply.
As for Cena, he's the new Batista.

Can't believe I never once factored that possibility in. Should Cena lose at Mania, or choke in his Elimination chamber match, I could see that being a HUGE deal in it's own right. The bitter, frustrated Cena takes out his aggression on Bret Hart, and by helping Vince, he is rewarded with a "next night" title shot on RAW against the current champion (HHH?) We've all been wanting him to turn, and hey...Cena is the biggest corporate puppet in the WWE right now. Vince may have even foreshadowed such a turn tonight...."I love the money that you make me..." *Hrrm*

I thought it was absolutely hailarious seeing Cena asking why he was attacked. Did he honestly expect Batista to just go to the back quietly after he ran him from the ring to save Bret? Especially after he made himself an easy target by turning his back? Don't interfere in someone else's fight and not expect to get hurt in the process.

Cena stuck up for Bret 2 weeks ago. He's the one that got Vince to bring Bret back. Cena was going to stop it. He didn't even attack Batista. Cena was supposed to let a legend like Hart be treated like that? As much as he respects this business? Come on! If Batista was worth a damn as a human being, he never would've done Vince's bidding.

Batista didn't want to be Bret Hart'd by Vince, so he took his side. Cena should have kept his nose out like everybody else, it doesn't involve him. He also should have kept his nose out of Bret not being back on Raw... so that works both ways. And he got involved, that's just as bad, if you were beating some guy up over something and he made the save, what would you do? Run away? No, I'd kick his ass too. He should focus on his chamber match like a good sport.

I'm going to start penalizing people for basketball/Batista references. Surely that would just lead to people holding grudges.

Exactly and if you've seen Cena's promos, they somewhat evolved into a more calmer, rational, but still fiery approach. I like it. When Cena takes the time to stop acting like a goof, he really shines. That's why he'd work better as a tweener than a heel or face.
