I have to say...I'm pretty dissapointed.
I mean, I'm neither a major fan of Mickie or Michelle, but to be perfectly honest, we've had to deal with that stupid "Piggie James" storyline for all these months, and the payoff is...a match that results in Mickie hitting her finisher and winning.
I mean...nevermind that this feud's been going on for months. Nevermind that this had an actual storyline as opposed to Chris Benoit vs. Orlando Jordan. Nevermind that the biggest (I mean that in all ways possible, by the way ;D) Diva right now was insulted many a time, but...that's it? Really?
I guess what I hate most is that during the whole entire feud, hell even before then, the ENTIRE WWE Divas roster revolves around Mickie (once again, meant in as many ways possible). Everytime Mickie's on a tag team with a face champion? Her theme thrives over them. Whenever Mickie's on a tag team that her storyline isn't primary? Mickie's music plays. Hell, the aftermath of last night's match shows that every face Diva has to come out to celebrate Mickie's victory. Why?
Maybe I should be complaining more about the MVP/Miz match being suddenly announced for the show, but at least we got a good match out of that (if not a puzzling aftermath with the fans' reactions). For the storyline put into Michelle/Mickie, the match should have gone on longer.

In my opinion, it was perfectly booked: It gave Mickie the win, McCool and Layla got their karmic paybacks, and the crowd didn't go asleep! I mean, it was better than it had any right to be from this poster's angle.

It was one of the most over and memorable moments on the show - the crowd loved it, and it was sweet revenge for Mickie fans like me fearing the worst.

I loved it.
Mickie said she was gonna embarass both Michelle and Layla and she did just that by beating the tar out of them.

I'm fairly indifferent to Mickie, but anything else other than her completely and utterly annihilating them quickly would have been the wrong way to conclude that angle.

With how Mccool and Layla had been embarrassing Mickie for a while now, the match was perfectly booked. Not every match has to be a broadway to further a storyline.

I was fine with the match, for once I wanted somebody to get their competence and they did. Besides this feud will more likely continue into Mania and somehow involve Beth setting up a triple threat.

I almost made a thread about what I was expecting and thought it was gonna go down like the Lita/Trish match from Survivor Series 2004 where Mickie just comes out looking for blood and gets herself intentionally DQ-ed in the name of trying to intentionally hurt McCool for all the crap she's put her through. Not that I expect the two to main event smackdown ever but thats how I thought it would go down

I thought, in storyline terms, it was pretty perfectly booked.
I hope this will put an end to the "Mickie is being punished!!!" stories, and people will be able to look at this storyline for what it was; really good.

This was clearly yet another deplorable act in a storyline conceived to humiliate Mickie James and force her out of the company!

The fact that she lost so quickly makes me wonder how the relationship with Taker is going.

The fact that she lost so quickly makes me wonder how the relationship with Taker is going. I've got a crazy, strange and radical answer. Maybe matches are decided upon by doing what's best for business and what's logical for the storyline rather than backstage relationships?

It was close to perfect for me.
I just would've had Mickie beatdown Michelle a little instead of just beating her with one move. Still, Layla got the beatdown so...yeah, it was good.

I've got a crazy, strange and radical answer. Maybe matches are decided upon by doing what's best for business and what's logical for the storyline rather than backstage relationships? Then why did Randy lose at Wrestlemania last year? Because the story being told was that Randy was the tormentor of the McMahon's, and the only person who could save them was their champion? Why did they put the belt on Randy 3 weeks later and have him hold it for the majority of the next 5/6 months? If it was a case of trying to bury Randy, why give him the title? Why put him in the main event at all? Wrestler's aren't marks. Randy wouldn't care because he's getting a massive pay day by being in the Wrestlemania main event and then being featured in the main event of his brand for every PPV for the rest of the year. Think he, HHH or anyone else cared if he told a perfectly reasonable story of getting his comeuppance at the biggest show of the year?

Not really, man. Mickie got them back for embarrassing her all those months, with embarrassing Michelle by beating her with one move and then dumping cake in their faces. I honestly don't think Mickie should have won but hey. Atleast this might mean Natalya will get a shot, hopefully.

I think they could have had a good match, but in retrospect I'm really glad they booked it this way. This feud had been as one sided as the Cena/Miz one, so Mickie getting this decisive win can hopefully put an end to it.

Michelle McCool just told me on Twitter that the Women's Title is merely "on temporary leave". Gotta love her.
