Could it possibly be a show just for second generation talent? Like a mix of confidential and a regular brand. The 2nd Generation Talent talks about what it was like growing up in a wrestling family, they wrestle and all that. They have a pretty fair amount of talent from wrestling families so that could work.
Even if they don't do the 2nd Generation show, I think a mix of Confidential and a regular show could be a great idea. It could used to develop gimmicks and get the fans familiar with the talent. Why they chose to wrestle, who inspired them, why they surf, why they play Guitar Hero before matches, why they are intense, how they developed the drug addiction that CM Punk cured them of. That is new, innovative, and all the other stuff that Vince mentioned in the promo. Fans could send in questions each week to ask the subject.
For a long time, ECW was a show for young up and comers. CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, Sheamus, The Major Brothers. They all got started on ECW. So having NXT as a brand just to showcase new and young talent would basically be what they already have, but possibly without guys like Christian to bring in ratings. Televising FCW on a national scale would be bad because then the guys whose gimmick's or skills don't get over well, have no where to go but out. FCW serves as a place for guys to go down, try new stuff up in front of a small audience and possibly get a new start for when they get called back up. Dolph Ziggler is an example of this. If OVW/DSW/FCW were nationally televised, he may still be known on a wide scale as Nicky from the Spirit Squad. FCW also serves as a place to train guys.
