So, what's everyones take on Bret having yet another new version of his theme last night? Personally, I liked his remix from the jan 4th Raw, somehhow this one sounds more generic.

I didn't like it. Why tamper with a classic?!?! At least they didn't put words on it.

Wasn't the first "new" one just the Hart Dynasty music?

I thought it was exactly the same as the one a few weeks ago.

Nah, had the same intro, but followed his original theme more closely

They sometimes tweak themes as they go along, they did the same thing when Kane started using his current theme. It sounded a bit more MIDI-ish the first couple times.

The intro and the first few guitar riffs seem to have the biggest difference. It just seems to build up a bit more before the "shredding" starts. Overall it's not a huge difference, and whilst I can't say I took issue with the original either; I don't feel a bit of tweaking here and there is doing any real harm.

Should'a left well enough alone. His final WWF theme was perfect, the bass in the steady drum beat of that version sounded really good when cranked up in a packed arena.
While I'm on the subject of his last run, WWE should totally be darkening the arena and having the pink heart spotlights dancing around on the canvas like before.
Best example of both - about 2:40 in

I thought they should've left well enough alone as well, but I'd be lying if I said "Return the Hitman" isn't f***ing amazing.

So people complain about the new theme, and when they change it to be more like the old one people still complain.

If only he'd come out in those wicked shades he used to wear, then hand them to a young fan at ringside. Awesome stuff there.

Ah but that wouldnt work without Vince on commentary saying "HA HA" which he did EVERY SINGLE TIME Bret did that. I guess Vince finds shade philanthropy funny. Or something. Personally I dont think they should have tampered with the theme, but I loved the old one.

I like the newer version they used on the 4th, I always will love the main riff, this version has like a weird bridge/fill at one point in it that sounds like it has nothing to do with the overall them that weirded me out mainly.

They shouldn't have messed with it in the first place, but last night's theme was a big improvement on the one from the 4th Jan.

My favorite is still his first theme.

My favorite is still his first theme. This theme makes me think of Wrestlemania X, when all of the wrestlers are carrying him around the ring and the fireworks are going off overhead. Yeah, this is probably my favorite version of the song...

I wish they just went with his last theme before he left. I agree that theme was perfect with how it sounds cranked up. If HBK can keep his theme for so long or Hogan, or The Undertaker. Hart theme had that same kinda iconic level. When you hear the first part of it the fans respond right away. The new themes I kinda like the first one better but neither of them are as good at the one he left with.
