What a difference a year can make. From jump street, during the Tough Enough competition he appeared in, I thought he had potential, but nothing else. When he debuted as a wrestler, I hated him and thought he was absolutely lackluster. He's a reality tv star, if you can even call him that...what business does he have in the ring?
And now? Dude's a rock star out there. He's got a good look for a guy his size, and ever since he debuted his new theme and cut that promo with Maryse, I've thought he was phenomenal. His abilities in the ring have come a looong way in a seemingly short amount of time.
In terms of his heelishness and look, you know who he reminds me of? A wrestling version of actor David Patrick Kelly (well, young DPK). He's got a similar facial expression, and that same obnoxious smugness about him that just makes you wanna smack him. Can't you just see The Miz clacking the bottles together and asking The Warriors to come out and playyyy-i-eee-yaaayy?
Anyway, dude's awesome now. Pun intended. I'm a fan.
He and MVP are in the same category of "dudes I didn't like when they debuted, but they've since proven themselves in a big way". Except MVP still does that lameass Playmaker instead of the Shining Black variant he was doing a few months ago. C'mon man, you're way better than that finisher.
I guess it works out that they're feuding with eachother, eh?

I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?

Typical IWC flip floppers. The typical IWC stubborn gits are going to be pissed at this.

That's OK, Void, I can carry the hatred for you.
Miz is a talentless Sleestak. Boosh.

Miz has always been good, it's just that when he first debuted, I.W.C. 'groupthink' demanded that you dislike him. After all, there's no way a damn Real World contestant was gonna come in and be given any respect by so-called 'smarks'. Of course here we are four years later, and The Miz is the best thing currently going in the 'E.
Not to toot my own horn, but I called it from the get-go. Toot! Toot! (thank you Arn Anderson)

I called it too - Miz so clearly just has IT. Pure, distilled, IT. The fact that he clearly cares enough to develop as a worker is just a bonus.

I've liked the guy since pretty much day one.
I actually have only seen one episode of Real World, one with him on it. Must be the unique name but on seeing his face on WWE TV, I instantly thought "Mike Mizanin?!" I was just very happy to see a fan live their dream, and that admiration hasn't diminished.

He's alright. He has the character down really well. Now he needs to start making me care for his matches.

It's uh, kind of insulting. More of a joke that no matter what people's views on the Miz are, they seem to be falling into an IWC stereotype, even if they are completely contradictory, but hey, sorry if it came off dickish.

I've always said the Miz was awesome even when the majority thought he was a nobody.

He won me over when he and Morrison were tagging up. They both improved tremendously during that run ring wise.

I honestly thought after his loss to Puder, he would of just gone to DSW or OVW, flounder for a year or two and find himself back in the Real World/Road Rules challenges. Boy I'm glad that he proved me wrong. The Miz deserves everything because of his hard work and dedication, and I hope he gets a good match at Wrestlemania if they keep pushing his feud with MVP. Maybe a 2/3 falls or a gimmick match for the US title perhaps at Wrestlemania?
